@@otttimon5654 I'd argue he's strong for the point in the game that you fight him at--he's pretty much the strongest monster you've faced up until that point, and he definitely took a few tries for me in my first playthrough.
@@astracrits4633 well when you look at his stats in the games files theyre supposedly up about even with Undyne's, she even says "he's really frickin tough", not to mention the dialgue hints he has blasters, and its not just sans that does, but yeah, he doesnt want to hurt anybody and he's at the beginning of the game, so he needs to be easier than the rest of the cast, he's meant to be the first "oh shit!" boss of the game, since he's the first to affect your soul itself and change the gameplay, Toriel is a boss monster with the same stats as asgore, but both of them are arguably easier than most of the game fights because _they dont_ want to fight, so they have the same excuse as Papyrus does, the lack of will to harm anyone so its only speculation, true, but the fact is there is still _a lot_ to be able to uphold most of said speculation
if there was a genuine fight with Rouxls? this would probably be the song for it. and my god. i do have some good concept for him. since he's a 'Rules' card, he dictates how the game is played. he can do as he oh so pleases.

Rules are dangerous to break so who knows if the vessel we created at the beginning of the game was with the help of Roulxs? He wouldn't allow the vessel to be used cause the "rules" of the game are to play as Kris. Changing the rules of the game late into the story would allow Roulxs to use the vessel against Kris and the Deltasquad with the choices that we made during character creation mattering in a huge way

This got me thinking of an idea for a dnd campaign. The party goes around and slayies Monsters as usual, aiming for a Red dragon's head, fighting other parties along the way, because they too want the bounty for the dragon's head. As they land the killing Blow to the dragon, It asks the player why are they attacking him. He reveals the adventirers guild Is actually undirectly crontrolling the people, leasing them to do things thinking it's the right thing to do, while they actually use adventurers to do the dirty work for them, killing "bandits" or "aggressive" monsters that are a problem for the Guild.
