Coal hauling there and in East KY is that kind of road and worse. Especially strip mine haul roads hauling 80+ton and don’t blink an eye at it around here.
That front on shot at the end with the drone of the truck head on was a great shot imo the truck looked awesome and looked like the drone just stopped to look at you. One day coffee on me.
Used to be the main highway from Charleston to Sam Black Church hwy 60 b 4 64 was open thru Beckley had to have the whole road on them mountains because it was the main highway east and west we hauled chip's to Covington Virginia
Been there! Also to the plant they have just about a block north. Theres also a fertilizer plant in that town, behind were you where at. Those loads usually from the fertilizer plant go to Home Depot and Lowe's stores. At least the ones I did. I'm sure they ship all over.
I’ve hauled a lot of coal across that mountain you ever get a chance and want a bit of a challenge get routed over 99 to 85 across bolt mountain into not narrow it’s just steep
Use to haul Cat equipment back in late 80's up into some of the mines in that neck of the woods. 76,000 on the deck, 11 ft and some change wide. Escorted by Battle Axe. Have seen some roads where you cross the creek and you do without a bridge!
Use taxi rail roaders tothe coal temples to get there train and always hated meeting you guys never enough room especially after dark. I have complete respect for you guy's. I actually got into coast to coast trucking after-working yard joky for while but was nothing like those back roads of west virginia 😂
I thought you was driving a coal bucket, and I could tell you ain't from West Virginia or Eastern Kentucky by your lack of an Appalachian accent !! Good driving though !
@NomadTrucker ,I moved from Eastern Kentucky and I settled in a little town north of Nashville (Springfield) but, I'm a hillbilly through and through...you can take a man from the mountains, but you'll never take the mountains from the man !!

Be glad it wasn't snowing. Don't worry those guys think they are lost to
Try hauling oversize loads down roads like that. I used to move rigs in West Virginia for a few years
Really cool drone footage, nice addition to your channel
Been there done that!! One of the nastiest roads I've ever driven! Beautiful mountains though!!

There's no fertilizer plant anywhere near there
Been there a long while back. Drove with my radio off so I could see better the entire way.😂😂😂
Holla from WV , those signs are for reporting overweight or speeding coal trucks mainly
That highway 60 reminds me of highway 62 going to Eureka Springs Arkansas. There are lots of switchbacks and very tight curves
You are the best truck driver ever 👍👍💯💯💯💯💯

@@mccormickchainsaw I wish I had a dollar for every curse word I've said driving across Bolt Mt. on foggy nights. Stay safe out there.

If someone from W, Virginia gets a divorce from his wife, will she still be his cousin?
Staying in lane is a skill. You don't possess it.
