When a new driver first hits the road, one cause for concern can be, "Where am I going to put all my stuff?!" It's true that semi trucks have little space to store things. Drivers can't exactly be hoarders when they live life on the road, after all.
However, there are some storage tips and tricks that can make it easier to stay comfortable on the road. In this video, CJ shows how to organize a truck to live a clean, healthy and productive lifestyle on the road.

My husband is in school now and soon he is taking me and our kitten out on the road. Excited.
I do so many of the same things! I keep our truck very organized and clean. A few things I do... I have a hand vacuum that I use every few days and once a week I use the swiffer wet pads and wipe down the floor. Keeps it smelling clean and fresh! 😉
good luck with finding someone with you in today's trucking industry , good old days
How to organize a truck you doing a good job to show people how to keep the truck clean and organized
Thank you, that Velcro sure sounds like a great idea, I'm switching from tape to Velcro.😊
Thank you bring that up so people can know how to
It’s great seeing people be organized with their stuff. 👍🏼
Great, thank you!
AMAZING IM TAKING NOTES 🗂🔖🔖The most organized truckers I ever saw
Prepared meals in a truck...that's something I haven't attained to, lol. I have plastic bags stuffed in where she had her paper plates, lol. Now I know what that pocket is really for.
I absolutely loved this video. I just subscribed. I hope that you’re still out on the road healthy and safe. My husband just bought his first truck although he’s been driving for two years. We have to use the top bunk to put the dog crates up there. Our pets travel with us. We do have underneath the bed that same kind of storage that you do. Although it’s a different truck so it’s set up a little differently I sure would love some help if possible
love this video I I was trying so hard to find ways to organize my stuff better this is going to help out a lot thank you
WOW! That is very impressive. Thanks for sharing. My truck looks like a mechanic's shop.

Thank you for this video. I'm starting my first day of trucking otr with a trainer tomorrow, and I was looking for things that I need to pack, but I had no idea how much space I would have. This gave me lots of ideas of what I can take.
This is the *BEST* organizing video I've watched so far, your truck is *CLEAN*, well organized...(Military?) I give it 5 stars! Going to use a LOT of these idea's when I get back on the road, thank you!

Wow Great Video Thank You!!!!!!!!! 😀😀
Nice video!! My wife and I team
drive and there is more of her stuff
than mine!! We bought a small swifer and only use one handle of
the two and use it to clean the
windshield on the inside makes it
easy to clean the whole glass and
it makes it faster!!!
well done!
very informative
Loved it♥️♥️
Wonderful
Nice set-up. This is my second week on the road. I have a big list of items to bring next trip. One of my biggest adjustments to get used to is using public bathrooms. I can't go with people around me. I have a bottle for emergency pee breaks. And a bucket with bag liners for #2's.
For the emergency bathroom idea , my husband has a Porta -Potty .... He just empties it when at home but can also empty it at various truck stops ! Its definitely a life saver !
we also have a 2016 freightliner, we have no room, the only shelf we have is where the tv goes. Everything goes under bed,i would like to have somethings readily available i guess i'll be using more velcro, you are so right that velcro is a truckers "go to"for everything lol
Nice!!!
ty good info
Nice. 👍🏾
Love your video .. Question ... How do you guys use the Microwave??
Very creative and neat..;)
Zully Alvarado Thank you Zully!
Thank you! I am so unorganized and cluttered.
Nice job.question what kind of valcro is that and how you make stick so good
I’m getting ready to do a makeover for my BF for his truck. You said you use Velcro for any of your hooks. I was wondering why you don’t just attach the adhesive on the hook to whatever wall your placing it on. Thanks for the video. I got some great ideas from you. Stay safe
I need alot of help organizing our truck we have two dogs as well and it's so over whelming
Ideas for a Kenworth T680 would help
Thx for the video where did you get the fridge?
Hi Can you do a video on organizing the Cascadia Please Ty
Great organization tips here, thank you! I’d like to know how you attach the Velcro to the truck walls etc though. If self stick, then does it really stay that well and not pull off, away from the surface (it was previously attached to)?
I bought a bag of rubber bands, big ones also I bought a large jar of BUNGEE cords. I even use a few across the top and handwash sometimes, hang them over the bungee clothes line to dry. They dry at end of the day!
Bungee cords and rubber bands come in so many times. After a year , they get stiff, so you will buy new ones at office supply store.
Bring stamps and envelopes , just so you can mail out a few things if you need to.
Headlamp and very bright camping lamp bought at a camping store are INVALUABLE too , esp. when it starts to snow.Put a sweatshirt with a hood under your jacket so your neck won't get cold bring a scarf to wrap around your neck. I use a goosedown comforter and a blanket on top of that I can sit on and could wash if I need to. Use cotton, not polyester, .......cotton keeps you warm or a bamboo blanket . Polyester is too hot in summer , cold in winter.
Nice, how did you attach the mirror to the closet door?
Hi, could you tell me more about laundry? Where to wash and dry ? Cost ? Does the refrigerator has a freezer too ?
what velcro you use I can't seam to get velcro backing to stick the the cascadia walls
any advice if the tripack hoses and other vitals tuff is hogging the under-bunk zone?
Neat!
Where did you get the velcro, and how you used it?
Thanks, RachelP
The things that hang out in the open they need to be secured we never want to be in a accident but anything can happen at anytime
I am looking for organization that everything is secured in semi
im a new trucker to go OTR starting tomorrow. Any tips on things I should get to have with me. ?
i have a 2016 freightliner i can not find a fridge or microwave to go into the cabinets so where did u find thrm at so i can ho get mine from there
The truck you are showcasing in this video, is it yours or companies. Curious if they allow you to do slight mods?
Did you guys drive for cr England? Becaise i use to ride along witu my mom amd we had a truck that looked EXACTLY like that 😃😃😃
Question! Is there enough space behind the frig for the air to circulate in that space!
Alex Pea Hi Alex, we are actually doing a video on this one and will get back with you on the answer soon.
How did you hang up those clear shelves?
I cant seem to keep any velcro to stick to anything in the truck? Any suggestions?
What size container you used underneath your bed?
Where can I find your blog and fb page? Great ideas btw!

Where to purchase the portable toilet
How u cover your windows
A Port-A-Potty would be much more convenient...
Using an air fryer would be handy for cooking!
Insta vortex mimi from Walmart
Whays the yellow cord i noticed running underneath the length of the bunk ?also what size is that fridge inside the cabinet as looking at a cascadia and used have a columbia but had a waist high fridge where the whole lower cab was after removing it so curious as to fridge size you got in the cabinet .
Jasson Bender Hi Jasson - The yellow cord was used to plug a switching power supply to the inventor. It was for CB set up, but we're in a newer truck now so we no longer have it.
Here's the measurements for our fridge:
21" tall
15" wide
20" deep
It's from truckfridge.com

Driver Solutions do you guys use the top bunk for anything?
What sucks with my truck is i have 1 closet, 1 top space, 1 dawar below my fridge, and two little open spaces that are filled with stuff. The reason it sucks, well under my bunk lays the brains to my apu, and im a flatbedder so the other two spaces are filled with padding and straps
This is more of a video of how teams should store their stuff. Which is awesome. Comment here and ill tell you how i organize for a single driver
what kind of velcro are u using? I bought the industrial kind and my hooks keep falling. thx
Brandon Bone We use 3M Velcro.
Your guys truck little different then mine. I just cant get it right!
Plus my bunk is extremely hard to left and you have to hold it up. Dead left over 60lbs. Any help on that? So much space there Im not using because I cant.
Yes I did go to two different dealer they both said that how it is...ugh
Your hydrologic shocks under the bed are dead. Get new ones or just install them if you don't have any. You can lift a bed with 2 fingers.
I dont know about anyone else, but I cant get anything to stick to the walls in any truck Ive had. For instance Ill try to use double sided tape to stick a multiplug on the side of the shelf wall and nothing I get sticks. Its easily pulled right off like theres some sort of coating on all the plastics in these trucks.
Ive seen plenty of videos with people using velcro or even magnets but again...nothing seems to stick for me
:-(
wow very clean neat orginized truck lol my truck is sooo jacked up inside lol I think I need storage containers
How can I fasten a TV to my shelf please help me with that
Michael Wolford - HI Michael - we are actually doing a special video and blog to explain this and show it first hand. We will let you know once it's posted. Thanks!
The toilet bucket went by too quickly... Im curious about what it actually is...
I have minimum storage under the bunk.
♥️
Should of a volvo vnl 860 more storage in every way
Hey. I thought you’re not supposed to have anything stored under your bunk.
i didnt know the beds folded up like that
