I was so happy to have had an opportunity to share my story on your platform! You both are super awesome... I have shared this interview with a few of my groups... I am sure you all will garner a few more subscribers 😀
I’ve been waiting for this since you commented you were going to be on. What a great story. These medications are a game changer and your story is a testament to that! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I loved this so MUCH! Selena! Amazing JOURNEY!!!!!!!! You are so 'intelligent' in your science based view of your ADVENTURE! This is so incredibly important. I can't wait to hear about your Maintenance....please keep us in the loop. Please. I also want to say (TMI) billions of us have been overwhelmed with fibroids, etc. And, yes, it seems like they dry up and blow away. The pain I lived with for 40.......40 years.......is gone. I haven't yet heard the medical literature say a thin about this particular issue. My life has changed. Laraine, great interview! I especially want to thank you for the broad range of stories on the Downsized. Gratitude.
This was one of the best interviews. I just enjoy Selena and everything that she said and how she lost her weight and it just really helped me with the journey that I'm on I enjoy all your views. And just learning about going up and down in dosage, I learned a lot from both of you. Thank you.
Love this series, its so fun to learn from everyones unique experiences. Selena was delightful!!! Im taking my second shot today and I am so encouraged by all of you! Thank you Laraine and Selena!
This was a great interview. It’s so informative to hear how everyone is navigating their GLP-1 adventures. As a T2D, I’d love to see more diabetics join the conversation, too. Huge congrats to Selena on all her success. I’m looking forward to seeing how she handles maintenance, too.
Such a great interview ladies! It means so much to hear others journeys and how they managed I loved the content today! ❤so grateful to listen to guest experiences as they are diverse and no ones journey is the same🙏Thank you God that these weight loss drugs are available and will come down in price as other newer drugs surface
Loved listening and being inspired and encouraged by both of you amazing ladies ❤️ Great information, ideas and journeys 👍 I am excited about the micro dosing experience for maintenance as well!! Look forward to hearing Interview #2!!
I love Dr. Tyna! Less is better and a good transition to Ozembic and have been losing to get to goal! I plan to stay low as possible to maintain using the smallest dose twice a week! No issues side effects will be the same! I had a few rough days but I have no problems with I am pleased with smaller doses and adjust as needed. Thank you for sharing your weight loss journey.
Nice interview. I too mentioned some residual effects of the Zepbound. My PCP said that it was the effects of less inflammation due to the weight loss and a much better diet and not the Zepbound itself. That makes sense. I have a male cousin who is on a GLP-1 too and hasn’t really lost much because he doesn’t eat a better diet and continues to drink sugary sodas. Additionally, my sister lost 50# on Ozempic within 4-5 months. She Stopped taking it once she lost the weight she wanted and hasn’t gained any weight back in 8 months.
Yes @patti9339 Same here my pcp says we will titrate down after I get to goal weight and that if I gain, I’ll get back on it but doesn’t seem to understand being on a maintenance of a low dose She says that my sleep apnea is gone because of losing weight around the neck and the PCOS is Al due to insulin resistance and that with a low A1C now that it will be gone too I even said my mental health is better Smh 🤦🏻♀️
I believe im going back to 2.5...5mg im so suppressed im nibbling on a protein bar..if i drank the protein drink..i can eat for the rest of the day..miserable feeling full all day..

Wow Selena this is amazing And I think I’ll be educating my doctor too She doesn’t seem to think that Mounjaro is helping all the other things she thinks it’s solely because of losing weight smh
