the second time that "gavin ran into jack", it wasn't gavin's fault. he was just turning around, if jack had dodged in the GIANT TIME FRAME HE HAD, it could have been avoided.
the lads never really got the skydiving one because gavin had destroyed their news van and in the beginning they said you can't complete the challenge with no van.

If you're in a marathon when it's near the beginning so you're still surrounded by hundreds of others after jogging a few minutes, one person stops suddenly and kneels to tie their shoelace, the person behind isn't going to realize straight away and because they're surrounded he can't go around, he's going to trip, the people behind can't see what happened so a few more of them are going to trip. It's not always the one crashing first fault

Is it just me or was the chopper crash *entirely* Jack's fault for steering into Gavin?
It's Gavin's fault for flying at him full speed. Let's say that there is a jogger in front and someone sprinting behind the jogger. The person sprinting instead of moving out of the way crashes into the jogger.
And not only that Gavin turned into the other chopper
Nope, the jogger analogy is clearly inaccurate. I don't know about you, but if I'm running and I decide to stop, or change direction, I do so within one step. A massive helicopter simply isn't that manoeuvrable, especially not with a two ton weight dangling beneath it like a vehicular mace. Besides, Gavin was going straight, they would have collided even if he hadn't turned at the last moment.
Halo Hunter but it is not like that because they are both in a race, they are no strangers to each other, so if in a 4x400m sprint or 1km race a person suddenly stops or REALLY slows down its really their fault to being hit.
It's Jacks fault, he was going way too slow.
Action News Team was a great idea guys, just my opinion, I like to compliment you on your content as much as I can because there are so many complainers. So keep up the good work ;D

Elmin Legend Depends on the video. Some comments are actually nice, and some are not. The reason why PewDiePie and Achievement Hunter get shit is probably for a similar reason, unlike other videos. Depends on the video content and the channel, really.
Must understand that both have done stupid things (like humans do), and most people bitch the more popular a thing is. Some of the comments are not hate comments on this place, however it isn't hard to realize why, sometimes, people get angry.
I get it if people criticize or whatever. But saying that "Gavin is stupid" or "Jack sucks" just because they accidentally destroy a helicopter in a freaking videogame, well I just think it's sad. But it's been like this for a long time and I guess it's not going to change

About that whole "Jack blowing up a van and it was a joke" thing, you have to remember that
1) It was his own team's van,
2) It was an accident that everyone could see was an accident,
3) It was during setup time and not during a round.
Honestly I think Jack has some slight mental disorder. Not being rude, but he just lacks common sense, sometimes basic problem solving and is overall pretty awkward when it comes to a lot of things. Sounds weird. Idk.

Eh not a huge fan of this... I really don't like when jack is a part of a highly competitive lets play. He's TOO competitive and he seems to be the greatest contributor to the tension between the two teams. He needs to learn to relax and not take it so seriously or be such a stickler about the rules. It makes it hard to enjoy the video when I know he's actually getting irritated in real life and actually irritating some of the other guys. On the other side, gav really doesn't help and continuously pisses him off lol

Jack is actually one of the most chilled out dudes in all of Roosterteeth, and outside of videos he's got no qualms with anybody - except for maybe Joel, but that's a different story. I think you can see that when he does stick to the rules the others agree with him, and what's more, Gavin is a right mug. He is just a different brand of irritating altogether.

Neither time was his fault any more than Jack's, and the second time Jack fucking swerved right in front of them.
Team Gents were being the whiny assholes who call "cheater!", despite Jack and Ryan cheating more often than anyone else in that office. The whole conversation is ironic considering Jack cheated within the first ten minutes of the last video.

ParadigmShiftr sorry but Gavin literally knew Jack was in front of him since they left the airport and has been closing in on him. Hell they were still in the middle of talking about Gavin closing in on Jack. Common sense says go around or fly over, which in a chopper is easy. And the second one Jack had to flip around and Gavin ran through him again in the middle of it. His BFF Michael was the first to call him out on both which is rare in competitions as that never happens. After both he did his "I did it on purpose giggle"
The second time wasnt really Gavins fault the first time was Gavins fault, but its also everyone elses because THEY KNOW HE HAS DONE THAT STUFF BEFORE. So knowing someone does that stuff, would YOU let them get the chance to do it? I wouldnt have even let gavin drive because something like that is BOUND TO HAPPEN.
As annoying as it is to you all apperantly i think Gavin and Ryan are the funniest because they are always screwing around. Dont take a game so seriously, expetially when you aren't even playing it.
after multiple watch backs of the cargobob crash. gavin never veered from his path. Jack cut him off. basically, nobody can be blamed since jack ran into gavin's path and gavin didn't react/pay attention to Jack's chopper, causing the crash.
Quality Lets Play. Good idea with great potential for having multiple parts without getting stale for a while. I really liked it. They can do all sorts of stuff with this.

It amazes me how everyone can bitch about jack being 'whiny', but no one complains about gavin just being an idiot and blatantly cheating/wasting time. It's not even an argument about one being funny, because 90% of the time gavin's fuck ups (which everyone bitches about equally) aren't anything but annoying.
No one complains about Geoff, who gets easily frustrated and yells a lot, either. I find Jack easier to deal with than Geoff.
ZakuMeister Often times it takes them an hour or more to set up certain let's plays and then once they start recording if someone destroys something or messes something up it could take another hour or more to get back to the same point.... it would be pretty frustrating.
People complain because Gavin fucks up, but also contributes to the entertainment value. Jack whines consistently, and does not contribute to the entertainment value to a *lot* of people. Hence the complaints.

To be honest, I totally agree that Gavin shouldn't have gotten so much shit for that crash. They were all racing to the same place and the gents were moving slow and it's not easy to change your direction when you're going full speed in a helicopter. Gavin was just going full speed forward and somehow he was going faster and they collided. He tried to avoid it but it was too late.
The second one was a little ridiculous too, but I will say that Jack absolutely flew right in Gavin's path.
I wouldn't call any of this "sabotage" because none of it was planned or intentional.
I agree 100%. And what was Gavin supposed to do? It was a race, he couldn't of just slowed down or else the gents would've won.
If you look closely, you can see that Gavin turns left into them, had Gavin just kept going straight, it wouldn't have happened. And the second time you can very clearly see Jack turning to a direction, and Gavin going right at him.
A Real Koala If anything people are fanboying and blaming Jack, but the Gents got there first but the Lads still won.

Evan mixon Not in every case, some of us are trying to put actual logic into this instead of just saying "Jack's bitchin/whining" or "Gavin's not at fault cause I say so." CanYouHackett and Real Koala gave good reasons to why that crash wasn't "sabotage" as they put it. It seemed purely accidental.
Actually gavin is right. If you're running and someone randomly stops to tie his shoe and you run into him it's the other persons fault. The other person should have gone off to the side

That augment was the dumbest thing. It would have been valid IF jack just dead stopped but he didn't. They had a whole discussion just seconds before about how the Lads chopper was faster.

See, I think your mixing up the "actual" AH community, with the RUclips community. If you watch their videos on their website, there isn't any nonsense comments or huge irrelevant arguments. Don't like the comment section for their videos? Either don't read them, or watch their videos on their website.
The cereal argument stemming from the chopper collision was among the most amusing disagreements I've seen from AH.
Gavin wasn't in the wrong on the helicopter incident. Jack was to the left of them, and cut in front of them. Jack knew the lads were back there, and in a faster helicopter, and Jack was lower, and said he was rising. Though he is an idiot for trying to swerve left to avoid something coming at him from his left.
The 2nd time was completely his fault though.
umm its the same helicopter and gavin had the entire sky to go but he just happened to head straight towards jacks ass, trying to make a funny clip

Kamal Williams at 15:25 you can see Gavin Turning right to give him some distance from Jack, at 15:30 you can see Jack turning right putting him into Gavin's Path, at 15:37 you can see that Jack was turning right while Gavin continued straight, if you look where they are facing you can see that Gavin was on his way to the base while jack was moving to the right of the base.
both crashes were Jacks Fault.
Alright, I shall present the jury with the evidence.
At 15:17, we see the Lads gaining on our Gents. 15:28 the Lads are flying behind and to the right of Team Gents. Both teams fly straight forward. 15:34, Jack begins a turn to the right, immediately in the path of Team Lads. All parties fail to realize how close they are to each other until impact at 15:37. By law of what happened, Jack is in the fault for maneuvering into the path of Team Lads. By law of traffic, Gavin is in the fault (as he would in any rear end accident) as he should follow at a distance enough to be able to avoid contact.
As for the second one. 22:14, we see Chopper Lads facing Chopper Gents as it rises into the air. Gavin begins a count of 3 to start. 22:15, Jack is already turning to the right. 22:17, Gavin rises and immediately heads towards Jack as Jack is about to pass him. 22:18, Gavin makes a sharp left and hits Chopper Gents at 22:19. Second one is on Gavin.
Neither was on purpose, it was mainly a misjudge on distance between the two.
You have too much free time on your hands and over estimate the attention span of RT YT fans. I wouldn't waste the effort man.

I like how people blame Jack for the crash. Jack wasn't looking behind him, so he didn't know Gavin was right behind him. And Gavin is known for doing stupid shit because he doesn't pay attention. Every single "explanation to how the crash is Jacks fault" I've seen didn't happen in the video.

Gavin was a bit closer than he needed to be though. If you're in traffic riding up someone's ass and they have to suddenly slow down, that's generally considered your fault for not staying back enough. Plus Gavin seemed to have more forward motion than Jack just because of how he was flying.

Zack Ceasar No, Gavin hit him because he's a terrible pilot, and Jack "allowed" it to happen since he didn't see him coming. Being a pilot is the only thing that Jack is really good at in this game. If you don't know this, you didn't see any of the heists where Jack's piloting was important to the mission. Let Gavin fly however, and the heist immediately fails. Why do people defend Gavin when it's clearly shown that he's the worst pilot? He was able achieve one feat, but every other time he's proven to be a failure of a pilot.

My thing about the cargobob is that it's a race. In a race, why should the person in the back, the one trying to pass the one in the front, have to slow down when the person in front, who is slower, decides to put their path in front of the person behind them? Also the second one where Gavin is blamed for hitting him again, when they both are turning in the exact same time to the same location, there is no right side, they both ran into the other, trying to race to the base.

Halo Hunter okay let me get something straight. The mini stroke, forgetting how to read and speak, and not being able to feel parts of his face are all connected with the mini stroke. When you have a stroke, that means a blood vessel in your brain popped and in worst case scenario is death. On the other hand Gavin had a minor one making him temporarily not able to read and speak and not being able to feel half of his face.
Yet all the other things people have replied, I am surely convinced something is severely wrong with Gavin, so pretty much all this writing won't prove shit. Not to mention he bruised the back of his head making him blind for 3 days.

I've tried typing a lot of words to describe how speechless I am. One, this is a fantastic video, the conflict is hilarious and the fighting is perfect. Loving it up. Second, I never knew society was getting this bad. You could write a book with the amount of argument found in the comments here. It's frankly disappointing and utterly hilarious. The amount of worthless things said in the comment section is through the roof and I'm happy to add on to the pile. I can't fathom how some/one/ can be passionate about an argument over a video game, let alone, thousands of people typing up walls upon walls of text. It's jaw dropping if you were to reflect this kind of pointlessness upon our culture. I'm a very introverted thinker, so it's kind of normal that I'd delve so deeply into this, but stay with me here, because I want to share a thought with you. What does it mean to be human anymore? As a typical, middle class american, what are we, a portion of 'we the people', doing to leave an impact on the world?
