PS: Love the candy canes, trees, girls, and oval tags too!!!!!! I agree about the size of some of the dies though! It's so hard to find good dies! I can see why you create your own files! I need to learn if I ever get a scan-n-cut. Lol!
The Scan and cut 2 is a God sent and saves me some money in the long run. I bought it on HSN so I can pay a small fee monthly until It was paid off, that was the only way I could afford it. I have to watch my budget, crafting can be expensive especially when we don't quite know what style we like most in the beginning and what tools to buy...I learned the hard way but am more practical now. For me, I do prefer digital also because it is budget friendly and what if I need to make multiples of something that a paper pad won't have enough of the same pages I need. Thank you so kindly Jill. Teatime and Dolls Thanks for the info about the Scan-n-cut on HSN. That might possibly be a way I could afford one too. It is a big investment and I would want to know I would get enough use out of it. I had a hard enough time deciding to buy a Die cutting machine! Lol! ❤️😀

Super cute Carolyn! I like how you think! I am one of the strange ones who enjoys coloring and painting more than anyone else, but it brings me joy. Your little boxes are soo adorable! I also designed my own teacup boxes after seeing the ticket price of the Sizzix one. My reaction: yeah, I can make that! I transferred sewing skills onto paper, and the ladies in my church got teacups as Christmas gifts! Be blessed!-Raquel
Where ever I feel I can keep my spending as low as possible I will do so. China has the teacup you're referring to now. I will be investing in one of those in the future because it's affordable. I like painting depending on what it is. When it comes to coloring the same stamps over and over again, I'd rather color in varieties and then create batches by scanning them in, especially when I want to make embellishments for swaps, happymail, and selling, it saves me lot's of time. When I want a different look with different colors, then I will color the same stamps again and create new batches. Always a pleasure to hear from you Raquel. Warm hugs...Carolyn

Beautiful projects, just so lovely! I have just bought $550 of dies from Cottage Cutz. What I would do is cut a small piece of green paper and just run a small scrap to cut it out! Need to get me one of the Scan n' Cuts!
Loving the brother scan n cut 2. I rather cut a sheet of paper the size of the die plate because I cannot keep it in place without taping it down, it will move out of place when die cutting.
