Traveling through Bangladesh was incredible, a country where the people were so welcoming and giving it blew my mind. I had some free time and decided to book a last minute self funded trip to explore untouched Bangladesh. I packed my camera bag and I arrived in Dhaka (the most densely populated city in the world) where I navigated the busy streets of Old Dhaka (Puran) and surrounding areas before I made my way south to Chittagong where I ventured up into the Hill Tracts region. I ended my trip in beautiful Cox's Bazar where the beach runs unbroken for 120km! There was so many hidden gems in this country and I truly enjoyed where the ride took me as I caught rickshaws, CNG's, buses, taxis, trains (even riding on top of a train) and many various boats along the way. It was an incredible experience and I urge you to explore this country that still has so much more to offer!

@Rahul Even though we share (India and Bangladesh) same history till 1947, the post-1947 battle was incredibly different for both regions. One had to build a new country (India) and other (Bangladesh) had to come to a rude-awakening that the country they called theirs (Pakistan) was never theirs. And after battling with inner conflicts for 23 years, Bangalis finally decided to apart ways and get independent as a sovereign country. I don't to go too deep into the history, but those nine months that Bangalis fought to gain independence was one of the goriest, torturous war history has ever encountered. Almost 20,000 women were raped, 3 million people were killed and thousands of houses were burnt with people within a course of just nine months.
I know, every country has a different history to potrait, but I guess we can all come to this conclusion now that the documentary you all just watched had been an independent land for more than 50 years. Please pay respect to those martyrs. And next time I hope you won't say "Bangladesh is a part of India" because, with a blatant and factless statement like this, you are only embarrassing yourself.

I can only imagine how hard it can be to film a place like Bangladesh. Nothing is ever still, things are busy, and finding a subject to track must be such a challenge. Somehow you managed to show exactly what this place really looks like in the most captivating way. Also, the ability to match colour profiles from different cameras in this is outstanding. The sent satellite or the maybach of F.Rahman doesn't represent BD - neither to the west nor to our labours. This is the case of proper imbalancement.

@твн MIZƠ Except not in bangladesh... Same government since last 20 years almost. They eliminated the other parties and make fake new parties to get the 2% vote to keep democracy "alive". Many people including my uncles and aunts in BD were turned around at poll stations saying their vote has already been casted LOL...

This is an amazing video. My husband is Bangladeshi and we are planning to go to Bangladesh as soon as the pandemic is over. I can't wait to go there for the first time in my life 😁
You will be in for a shock, the best time to go is between Nov and Feb otherwise you will be sweating! Not a tourist friendly country (seldom if many tourists go) but at least you will have your husband who can communicate. English is not widely spoken in Bangladesh
As a bengali, lemme give you advise:
Go during winter.
Don't be bothered by the trash and open garbage.
We have traffic jam that takes hours so be prepared.
And most importantly have fun.
We do have alot of beautiful places like shundorbon, saint martin, rangamati and etc.
Stop lying. Foreigners don't marry Bangladeshi. Once you said your husband is Indian Bengali. I can remember it. You too much fancy about Bengali men.
