How could it go up lol. The dude has 8 SuperBowl rings, 6 as head coach. Is it really shocking to see that he’s a brilliant football mind who knows more about the game than 99.99% of the human population combined?

The chemistry with Pat and Bill was there. For a long time people saw BB as a crabby old man who doesn't like fun. During this segment we were lucky to see this side of Bill. Though at times you could tell he felt out of place with the PMS group. Pat kept him in the conversation and his dry humor started to come out. Bill choosing to be on Pat's show already sounded bizarre to me, but after watching what kind perspective he brought into is draft analysis you could tell he was a fit. He could've gone on any talking heads show and done the same thing, but it wouldn't have had the same effect. Bill cementing himself into the show in the fall is going to be exciting. He can still spend time with his family while calling in for 30 minutes a week. It's a Win. Congrats Coach.
As a lifelong Pats fan for 30 years, it was a genuine pleasure to get to have this man lead the way for all that he gave us. I'm happy he now gets to share his knowledge with the whole world. Even if you hated him, you have to respect the man and what he still has to contribute to the game. Love you Bill!!
Thank you Pat, and ESPN. Never thought I could be pulled from the NFL network. Hearing Coach talk football, and break down players. Dream come true. Best draft coverage ever!
Been a Patriots fan my whole life. Never seen Bill as happy in front of a microphone as he was with Pat and the fellas during the draft. What a treat to get to watch him talk football.
This is so AWESOME! I love hearing/seeing BB break down players/positions/film. The Patriots have a weekly show called Patriots All Access during the season and BB would be on there breaking down film on the opponent as well as how the Patriots played. You could tell he really enjoyed that aspect of the job, and here as well. He's a natural for the media!
Man I love listening to Bill talk football. This was awesome. As was his presence during draft week. Looking forward to more, especially during the season. Let’s go!!!
Watching Pat and Tone try and bob n weave around Belichick and the board is awesome! Such a great Spectacular (outside of no audio early on the RUclips feed)
Coach Bill is so knowledgeable and now that he isn't as tight lipped as he was when coaching he's awesome! What an addition to the broadcast... if a TV channel doesn't jump on Bill they are crazy...
Pat you guys have found a gold mine in Coach Belichick! Keep him at all costs!!!! He's forgotten more about football than 90% of the current coaches know! I literally could watch this all day!
this belichick is the coach I heard speak, at a football coaches clinic at Notre Dame, years ago.., totally different than what you see on tv, when he was coaching
Having Bill on a Pat is awesome. You can tell he was a little sort of nervous or like not as much in his own element , but I’ve always loved Bill when not giving media statements. He’s a true ambassador of the game and is one of the most knowledgeable historians along with being a great charismatic well spoken dude.
So happy to see bills fun side coming out. He was amazing as a guest during the draft. I hope he keeps working as an analyst, he looks so much happier than he did coaching and we can all appreciate his wisdom.
Reporter: Coach, your team got shut out today. What needs to change on offense? Bill: We need to score more points, obviously. Anybody else have an inane question? vs. McAfee: Tell me how a draft board works. Bill: How much time do I have to monologue on one of my favorite subjects that nobody really knows about unless they've been a NFL GM?
Coach bill is a fantastic resource for Pat’s show. This was very informative. I wonder if coach could be a weekly guest. The audience would love it, except those that thought he cheated to win.
He drafted 6 other HOFers besides Brady. Seymour, Vince Wilfork, Mankins, Slater, Gronk, Edelman (if Lynn Swann is in, Edelman is a lock). Joe Thuney may also one day see Canton for what his career is shaping up like.
Let's be honest & not try to rewrite history, he was a decent to poor GM. It was Scott Pioli & the other scouts & talent evaluaters out there actually analyzing & getting the details on the players before the drafts. Bill was a part of the process, with final say... but he wasn't doing everything himself. You can't give him all the credit for Brady & the rest & then just ignore the last 8-10yrs when NE had poor drafts & he left the team barren of any talent at all. He's an amazing coach, without question, but his front office work is average at best
Not going to lie. When I see bill explain things out, I have that snippet in my brain always, “we’re on to next week”. It’s nice because you actually get to see his reasoning and coaching. Props for the score ESPN. Will be an interesting year with him in media.
This is the education every college prospect should understand about the draft. Bill did a great job giving an overview of what teams expect from their drafts. I would love to hear Bill talk about the process for undrafted rookie free agents.
It's so funny how people labeled Bill based on his poker crabby face he played as a coach and in interviews but every interview with his players they all say hes actually a very funny man. We don't see it here but Bill is going to treat us to good times in the media now
Very interesting "inside baseball" segment. I've heard most of this before, but it was interesting to see it all laid out on actual boards. I still hope that Belichick and Saban do some analysis/coaching specials or segments somewhere on how coaches do their jobs.
To be honest, I prefer Bill being in the media now over being a coach. Love listening to him talk football
💯
Take off his Coach cap and Bill’s whole demeanor changes. I agree! He should be on TV from now on!
He really did do a great job and was way different than the curmudgeon coach he’s always been
@@2jjordan124 Why is being focused on your work and being intense, making someone a curmudgeon?
Agree.
My respect for Belichick has gone up 10000% this offseason. He's the man.
How could it go up lol. The dude has 8 SuperBowl rings, 6 as head coach.
Is it really shocking to see that he’s a brilliant football mind who knows more about the game than 99.99% of the human population combined?
He’s always been my most respected football mind
Never liked the pats but always was jealous they had this man
Also love the guy in suit.
Yeah youre a dolt.
Falcons picked Raheem Morris over him 😂😂🤣🤣
Bill is going to be the next John Madden at this rate
Pair him with Greg Olsen, instantly the best media analysis there is.
Already surpassed him in his own lane
He didn’t draft well post Brady that was one of the reason they let him go. He may know the draft inside and out but still he had some busts.
@@scotttildasante samuel, logan mankins, matt light, devin mccourty, vince wilfork, richard seymour, gronk, edelman, gostkowski, deion branch, jerod mayo, the list goes on. Even aaron hernandez looked promising until he killed people
@@Recontramojado Romo was good the first few years, but his attempts to guess the next play can get kinda old after awhile.

Shoulda seen Bill on NFL top 100 you would've been known he's personable
Would’ve known*
There’s no stress explaining things on camera.
He did not fall out of place stop the cap he was the same last week on the show
W , Dennise 😂
Bill is phenomenal
Bruh Belichick need to do full time broadcasting. He’s phenomenal.
Tom Brady and Bill doing the Superbowl commentary
He’s awesome. I’d also take him as my coach tho 😂
The entire time he was a HC, I just thought he was a high functioning autist with limited social skills.
The dynamic of Bill and Pat is iconic
Fire and ice, classic duo
“Bill loves the term edge” 😂😂 wild
Something he had in common with Robert Kraft
Would you say he's an edge lord?
How is that wild?
Bill sounds so happy. Its refreshing
The pressure to coach, GM, manage, etc. is off. He's like an ex-president.
Bill is back
Great to see Bill join the show and we will see him every Monday going forward.🤙🏽👍🏽
Pat got the best lineup
This was a pleasure to watch. Bill was incredible to listen to and interacted with Pats crew so well

I wouldnt mind watching this every pre draft show especially with the GOAT coach
It was great seeing everyone paying respect to Bill. And when he talked, everyone and i mean everyone shuts up and listened.
I LOVE BILL IN THIS MEDIA SPACE …. ITS REALLY ENJOYABLE WATCHING A MASTER BREAK EVERYTHING DOWN FOR US 💯
Bill and Nick Saban working the same NFL draft is a dream to me.
Bill is so smart. I love hearing the insider info he has been giving us this Draft Spectacular 💯💯💯💯💯
Bill killed it
I’ve been watching football a long time. This Belichick draft coverage is probably the best media football coverage I’ve seen since Madden
Before Bill only really got to talk limited football with us. Now he gets to talk all football with all of us. We are truly blessed.
Just a master. I miss the greatest GM and Coach in N. American sports history already.
What do you mean you miss him? This is the most access he's ever given. This will be the best version of Bill for fans
7:38 That smile Bill makes after hearing the word deceptive😎
Been a Patriots fan my whole life. Never seen Bill as happy in front of a microphone as he was with Pat and the fellas during the draft. What a treat to get to watch him talk football.
Ya it’s weird seeing him so giddy
I like this side of Bill......If ESPN hired him, I'll start watching and tuning into ESPN again.
It’s so great to hear Bill Bellicheck go through a draft scenario.
I could listen to bill talk about football all day brilliant football genius
Protect 2024 Bill
Pats fan all my life glad to see everyone realizing what a football genius this man is
Belichick is a GREAT analyst!
Bill better do a Podcast about coaching.
We have plenty of players talking playing, but hearing a coach talk about coaching would be awesome.

Nice to actually hear this time 🔊

This is real Bill Belichick
Man I love listening to Bill talk football. This was awesome. As was his presence during draft week. Looking forward to more, especially during the season. Let’s go!!!
dude, Bill is fantastic on camera and in media. so glad he's apart of this
Watching Pat and Tone try and bob n weave around Belichick and the board is awesome! Such a great Spectacular (outside of no audio early on the RUclips feed)
Great job Bill and Pat❤
Coach Bill is so knowledgeable and now that he isn't as tight lipped as he was when coaching he's awesome! What an addition to the broadcast... if a TV channel doesn't jump on Bill they are crazy...
This was so much cooler than i initially thought it was gonna be 😂
This man is football personified.
Wow watching football draft on another level 👍👍👍
Pat you guys have found a gold mine in Coach Belichick! Keep him at all costs!!!! He's forgotten more about football than 90% of the current coaches know! I literally could watch this all day!
this belichick is the coach I heard speak, at a football coaches clinic at Notre Dame, years ago.., totally different than what you see on tv, when he was coaching
This is the most I've heard Bill talk in over 20 years 😅
Never thought I'd see Bill doing stuff like this in a million years
He was awesome in the NFL 100th Anniversary and last year’s Army/Navy Game
Having Bill on a Pat is awesome. You can tell he was a little sort of nervous or like not as much in his own element , but I’ve always loved Bill when not giving media statements.

This is how I’m setting up my draft for Fantasy Football!!!
Dude Bill is gold as a media member. He has a lot of personality and obviously immense knowledge.
McAfee crushing it !!
In two minutes I have heard Bill Belichick string more sentences together than in his entire career in Post Game press conferences ;-) Love it!!
This was such a cool and educational segment. Would love to see more stuff like this in the future!
GOAT coach. Watching this was like watching a master painter make a masterpiece.
Analyst of the year, BB has been unleashed!
I could listen to him for hours...❤❤❤
Love having Bills perspective. Thanks for joining the show Bill
Been waiting all my life for this moment
Love belechick being on the show.
Hopefully he comes back this fall
Coach bill is a fantastic resource for Pat’s show. This was very informative. I wonder if coach could be a weekly guest. The audience would love it, except those that thought he cheated to win.
So much respect for this man
Love listening to him talk foots
Man this is awesome.
Dude Bill is about that!! No one better to pick Bill's brains than Pat himself
The show was great, but they didn’t make anywhere near enough of this. I could’ve watched Bill in front of this board all night
I thought BB deserved another shot at coaching this year, but I’m kinda glad he didn’t get one and he teamed up with the PMS
It’s wild how Pat is so well respected across leagues, players, coaches, etc and so much so he can have guests like Bill on the show.
BB is great. Love to listen to him talk football.
This is start of a Masterclass! I'd watch for longer if they'd let Bill cover this in detail.
Bill had great drafts! Multiple Hall of Famers and a superior defense to go along with Brady!
He drafted 6 other HOFers besides Brady. Seymour, Vince Wilfork, Mankins, Slater, Gronk, Edelman (if Lynn Swann is in, Edelman is a lock). Joe Thuney may also one day see Canton for what his career is shaping up like.

And Pat has become a great media dude, as well.
Truly enlightening knowing that you are absolutely listening to someone who knows what they are talking about.
This is the education every college prospect should understand about the draft. Bill did a great job giving an overview of what teams expect from their drafts. I would love to hear Bill talk about the process for undrafted rookie free agents.
Learning about this stuff from a literal genius is an incredible experience
Dang, McAfee is massive.... Never knew he was that big. Love this. ❤❤
Wow, this was great! Learned a lot.
I’m a Pats fan, so already love Bill, but I think if he’s on tv like this a lot more people are gonna start liking him.
This is fascinating for me as a casual
I love that Bill can be such a likable guy if he feels like it. I could listen to him talk football all day long
It's so funny how people labeled Bill based on his poker crabby face he played as a coach and in interviews but every interview with his players they all say hes actually a very funny man. We don't see it here but Bill is going to treat us to good times in the media now
I hope he becomes an announcer or more of an analyst like the Manning cast talking more in-depth during games. I love listening to him talk ball
Coach is a dynamic media personality
Bill has spoke more words in the last week than he did doing media while he was coaching! 🔥🔥🔥
Very interesting "inside baseball" segment. I've heard most of this before, but it was interesting to see it all laid out on actual boards.
I still hope that Belichick and Saban do some analysis/coaching specials or segments somewhere on how coaches do their jobs.
Bill really is just a cool old guy that loves ball. Also glad they put this up as a clip, had to watch in silence live
Super interesting video. Love Bill's insight
The amount of words Bill spoke in this segment is more than total cumulative number of words I've ever heard him speak in his entire coaching career.
I could listen to coach talk football all day!
Bill has one of the most iconic voices for football 🏈, if that's a thing, in my opinion.
Bill did amazing thought he would be boring.....
Never boring talking football. Ever.
Could just listen to him talk football for weeks straight
Gotta put the 7'1 320 lb Joe Blow with 4.43 speed in Madden now 😂😂😂
This is the first ESPN video I've ever watched and only clicked it because they muted it live last night lol
Belicheck would be great in the booth as a commentator! This kind of intel and inside information raised my football IQ a lot.
Bill is a brilliant football mind!
He has a different mindset at draft time
But the game itself
He has a great understanding of the game itself
I would have loved to have heard the great stories told by the players about Belichek, that were left on the cutting room floor in Dynasty.
How lucky was it to have both Belichick AND Saban in the media covering the same draft? This year's whole draft process was so fun to watch.
Simply amazing for football dudes
Everybody wanted Bill and he chose Pat. Super Cool!
Bill crushed this, his personality is electric. Love this
