The chemistry with Pat and Bill was there. For a long time people saw BB as a crabby old man who doesn't like fun. During this segment we were lucky to see this side of Bill. Though at times you could tell he felt out of place with the PMS group. Pat kept him in the conversation and his dry humor started to come out.
Bill choosing to be on Pat's show already sounded bizarre to me, but after watching what kind perspective he brought into is draft analysis you could tell he was a fit. He could've gone on any talking heads show and done the same thing, but it wouldn't have had the same effect. Bill cementing himself into the show in the fall is going to be exciting. He can still spend time with his family while calling in for 30 minutes a week. It's a Win. Congrats Coach.

Let's be honest & not try to rewrite history, he was a decent to poor GM. It was Scott Pioli & the other scouts & talent evaluaters out there actually analyzing & getting the details on the players before the drafts. Bill was a part of the process, with final say... but he wasn't doing everything himself. You can't give him all the credit for Brady & the rest & then just ignore the last 8-10yrs when NE had poor drafts & he left the team barren of any talent at all. He's an amazing coach, without question, but his front office work is average at best
