Awesome on your Heath report. Praying that everything continues to be positive. That's some nice books and Raina looks healthy and happy. Thanks for sharing. -James & Bella!
Great news... I'm so happy to hear there might not be any need for chemo or radiation... I'm also happy to hear you enjoyed The Sisters Brothers. I'm realizing it really is one of the highest honors when someone reads something we recommend... So thank you for taking a chance on something I suggested. So glad to see you back.... Contractually obligated to say it's great to see the co-host as well. 😩 😂
It’s so SO good to see you back! 😊 I just want to give you a big hug and have a good laugh! You had a great month of reading, through everything. Keep going strong, with kindness, and I can’t wait to see what other ideas you’ve got brewing! 😊
WooHoo I am so glad for your return! You are looking great after that ordeal and hope for nothing but the best recovery! You will love PT! You had a great reading month, very impressive. take it easy and enjoy that pup...looks like she wants more treats.
So glad to hear your positive health news. Hoping you can stay away from the nasty chemo and radiation treatments. I read The Sisters Brothers many years ago and remember it as being just like you described and I laughed at a couple of spots too in the book. Take care and enjoy the summer!
I hope your health continues to improve! I'm glad you found this early before it could get worse. I will pray for your full recovery! A Raisin in the Sun - I'd like to read that. I haven't heard about it in years. I remember it was popular years ago, and there was a movie. The Sisters Brothers sounds good too. I loved my June on the Range reading. I've already got The Lion Women of Tehran on my TBR list. I've already read Beloved. No, it isn't an easy read, but overall I found it very impressive!
You Like It Darker has one of the best covers I have seen in a long time. I didn't realize it was a gator until someone folded the cover completely out. Thought it was a rock island at first.
I’m so glad to see you back! I’ve seen (but not read) _A Raisin in the Sun_ so am looking forward to your banned books video - curious to learn what the “problem” was.
Reney, I’m so glad to see you back and to hear the good news. I hope that you continue to feel better and that you don’t need to have chemo or radiation. Continuing to send light and love your way! Great reading month. I do love A Raisin in the Sun. We used to teach it. I’m really looking forward to your discussion of why it has been banned. I am going to read the new Stephen King collection. Stay well, my friend. ❤️
