Is Topaz Video AI Still the Best Video Enhancer? - I Believe it is.

It’s been some time since I reviewed any update from Topaz Video AI and with version 5 just being released with new features and more robust enhancing this is an important video to show you the strengths of Topaz both for old footage recovery and for HD footage enhanced to 8K.
This first video will compare the previous efforts of different video enhancers, including earlier versions of Topaz working with footage I’ve previously experimented with in earlier videos - the Standard definition 1990’s Dance band video that I have used for
The second video will use more modern 720p footage and upscale it to 8K. When that video is published there will be a link above.
The SD video for this first example is 720x576 at 25FPS, I’m going to upscale it to 1280x720, and find the most suitable Topaz settings to make the video as sharp and clear as possible. Then when a segment is exported I will compare with previous versions of Topaz and with outputs from AVC Labs and HitPaw Video AI.

What benefits do you get from 60 fps that makes it worth the huge file size? I can't see any difference, but I have a relatively small screen.

@@juliensorel5535 I always like to record in the best quality, as the video file takes longer to age in terms of quality. Today the standard for smartTVs is 4K. I record at 60 fps so I can do slow motion with more detail and smoothness. Take a look at the slow motion of my video where 3 jaguars are lined up starting at 5:00 of the video.

10:24 you forgot to move the preview slider hence no changes but otherwise great tut! My favorite settings are 2k or 4k upscale/Artemis-MQ/Recover Detail set to 0 and I get a lovely result no matter how low the resolution is or how bad the quality is.
