Brother, I want you to know that I have had a special love for Israel and Jewish people for thirty years, since I was a teenager. I didn't know why back then, but I dreamed of visiting the land where Yeshua walked. And even then, when I didn't even know the full Gospel, it broke my heart that your people rejected Messiah. Fast-forward to 2004. When God finally fulfilled "You will seek me and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart", one of the first things that happened was a great rekindling of this love for Israel. Romans 9, 10 and 11, Psalms 122 and 137 were constantly on my mind. I found the Jews for Jesus website and downloaded all the music they offered for free, from a band called Liberated Wailing Wall. I was so thrilled to discover the veil had already been lifted for some, but still heartbroken for the many who are still not even believing in the Tanach. I couldn't understand how a Jew could be an agnostic or an atheist, and through this years God has showed me many who have lost "hatikva" and some are totally embittered. That's why I find your ministry, and that of the many very talented artists you now have in Israel, a great comfort and encouragement. You all are in my heart and prayers. I commend you, because your lyrics are very brave. I know most of you experience rejection from your people for believing in Yeshua, but just know that many of us are praying that God will greatly use your songs to open hearts to the Gospel. Brother, I want you to know that I have had a special love for Israel and Jewish people for thirty years, since I was a teenager. I didn't know why back then, but I dreamed of visiting the land where Yeshua walked. And even then, when I didn't even know the full Gospel, it broke my heart that your people rejected Messiah.
Fast-forward to 2004. When God finally fulfilled "You will seek me and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart", one of the first things that happened was a great rekindling of this love for Israel. Romans 9, 10 and 11, Psalms 122 and 137 were constantly on my mind. I found the Jews for Jesus website and downloaded all the music they offered for free, from a band called Liberated Wailing Wall.
I was so thrilled to discover the veil had already been lifted for some, but still heartbroken for the many who are still not even believing in the Tanach. I couldn't understand how a Jew could be an agnostic or an atheist, and through this years God has showed me many who have lost "hatikva" and some are totally embittered.
That's why I find your ministry, and that of the many very talented artists you now have in Israel, a great comfort and encouragement. You all are in my heart and prayers. I commend you, because your lyrics are very brave. I know most of you experience rejection from your people for believing in Yeshua, but just know that many of us are praying that God will greatly use your songs to open hearts to the Gospel. Thank you so much! You all are an answer to my prayers!
