Bc she’s already a legend & changed pop music forever 😭 so I believe it would mostly be about charts where if Taylor Swift for example dominated the charts for entirely the whole year.
@@HallOfMimi It’s actually about making an impact in the music industry as a woman. Hence, why Taylor Swift won Woman of the Decade because of how empowering her music and her words are throughout her career. Woman of the year/decade would be useless if the only thing the artist contributed in the music industry is good music. As for Olivia, I reckon she won this because at the age of 17 she made huge hits and even got nominated multiple grammys which is empowering for future musicians.
I've never seen anyone have such a huge debut year. Congrats to her.

I literally cried which I usually don't. But whenever it comes to feminism and encouraging women specially in a industry like music it's just something else. She's so young yet have achieved almost every thing she ever dreamed of. She really represents the picture of a strong, powerful and wonderful women and I'm so so so proud of her. So for all the girls out there writing down lyrics in any random page, thinkin of making someting big out of their creative mind, go for it. Just fucking go for it. You got this.

She’s one of the very very few artists that has a staying power. I can say this since she already have a growing fanbase and her next album is already anticipated by the general public and her album is praised by alot of critics and artists. How I wish the music scene is just like the 2010s where a lot of staying artists emerged since we don’t have that now. Most of the new artists will only have 1 successful song/album and then disappear.

although i do love olivia but naming her women of the year… like yes she’s successful but i don’t think she’s been impactful. idk who was nominated but i believe Doja should’ve won women of the year cus she really changed the rap game for both men and women and there hasn’t been another female rapper that came out this big other than queen Nicki of course cus it’s hard for female rappers to be taken seriously.
I feel she has impacted a lot of people. She’s popular all over the world. Her songs help people like me cope and give me hope. There is a reason why her albums debuted at #1 and why her 2 most popular songs streamed over 2 billion each. I need to give her credit for her achievements. I listen to Doja’s songs too. And I love her songs. But for some reason Olivia’s songs touch me in an emotional way and meaningful way.
