I used to be a 100% community center guy. After thinking about it for a little bit I definitely prefer Joja. Doing the community center doesn't make you more tight knit with the community, the "community" you're a part of doesn't help you with anything despite there being many people who specialize in things that you need, a majority of the community could give a care less that you exist and on top of that to even become friends with the people in the community you have to break yourself more than any human ever would do be friends with somebody. You have to break yourself to be a part of the community and all you need to be a part of JoJa is money, I'd rather be seen as a "greedy capitalists" than carry an entire community on my back😂
this reminds me that i still need to do my joja run for the achievment... but the damn cowboy shooter mini game will keep me from 100%ing it probably, if you have tipps on how to beat that i could use them lol
I am *so bad* at Journey of the Prairie King 😂 it's one of the only achievements I'm missing & I'm still so mad that Junimo Kart doesn't have an achievement - it's clearly the superior game 😂 Maybe I'll try get good at Prairie King & do a video about both minigames👀
1st ever play through was multiplayer and we bought the membership not knowing what it was. Thought this was how the game was meant to be played then learnt a little bit and I'm not giving into capitalism ever again.
Same here, that darn clock takes a while to save up to though even though I am making a lot of starfruit and ancient fruit wine and selling it. But no way I am doing the community center the second time. Now that I actually know what I am doing, getting the money should be rather quick. I think the collecting thing is fun the first time but gets a bit annoying once you have to repeat it, I tried to avoid wiki anything besides some of the fish since the exploration part was the most fun but now I already know where the things are which takes that away. Besides, the community center is likely to fall apart again after you fixed it, few townsfolk do visit it and it was Lewis using the tax money on building a golden statue of himself instead of paying for the upkeep that killed it the first time, as long as he is in charge it is just a matter of time before it falls into ruin again.

What I'm trying to do is reach perfection on my main save before i go for the joja route; idk why i decided this but im sticking to it lol.
That's the way I did it too! I feel like Joja feels more "justified" if you've already done the CC, helps with the guilt 😂
