Zero faith? You have faith in the process of philosophical enquiry. You believe you have no beliefs. You have opinions grounded in thought, observation enquiry and logic. These are all beliefs - which is indeed faith. You cannot avoid faith once you have awareness of something and start to formulate opinion. Depending on your definition of faith
Why do so many audience members at these kinds of events insist delivering incredibly long Ted Talks instead of formulating concise questions. I want to listen to these guys, not hear question askers dictate their entire dissertations. Write a Substack for that stuff, please. Just ask your question quickly and respect other people's time
another thing - in my mind the current state of progressivism is a logical progression of 'the old school'/ 'the good ones' Chomsky-types leftists. I believe we must start institutions that are based on right wing and conservative values - things to ask ourselves is - do you know any right wing art? do you know the percentage of conservative artists or arts/humanity university professors? Extremely low. Leftism leads to demoralisation and destruction of art and censorship of history.
