Hey just a heads up I've just had an ironman GVM upgrade done and i asked about changing the cross member brackets they reckon if any parts are changed or removed from the ironman GVM kit the GVM upgrade is voided, i highly doubt it would make a difference apart from a legally point of view
Yeah if you remove anything directly from the kit then yes, it would void their warranty however the cross-member I've installed here came with the car and has nothing to do with the actual performance of the Ironman kit itself so it shouldn't impose any problems.
Just rewatched video even the radius arms that you changed will void your GVM upgrade as you have changed from the ironman castor correction bushes supplied in the GVM kit, I know it sounds stupid and chances of being caught out for it would be next to nill but just thought ya should know 🤙
@@4x4ZOOK if that’s the case I think it’s voided regardless as GVM upgrades are “technically” only installed based on stock tyres being fitted to the car (so I’ve heard) but yeah I think it could be void if someone where to go in detail but so would most of them I think 😅 drop brackets were installed as part of the GVM kit itself yes but would be hard to prove that it’s void if the brackets are not the cause of the issue and it’s let say the springs itself (if in an accident etc).
@ExploreJimny yeah I tried to get bigger tyres approved but they wanted to do lane change testing ect to much hassle I asked if it voids the GVM having bigger tyres they said no I just run the risk of a defect the only way I can void the GVM is to overload the car or change any of the GVM components
Great! You Australians do stylish things. 4x4 camping, Rob Hamilton is now your channel. I am watching you more and more from Russia
