It really makes me wonder why don't all teachers teach like him. He doesn't skip steps to save time and he explains every little detail even the simple math steps and I think teachers automatically assume you can already understand all the skipped steps but often times that seems to be the connection people are missing.

I've been watching calculus videos here as a 14 year old guy here and i could easily get all of the lessons with this guy
For the problem at 14:41, I tried separating the integral into (1/x) * (x^3-5x^2) and then took the integral of each with the intention of adding the two together after doing all the computation involved with each. Why am I not getting the same answer as the simpler way of recognizing that you can just divide by x?
at 24:10 he explains u and DU but in du he puts 3x^2 i get the x^2 is meant to cancel out the other x^2 but whats the 3 for and from were ? if anyone can help id be greatful
