Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

2:40 Like how Lacierda panics when he hears the electric saw because he assumes Mike is going to turn him into a LiveLeak video
"There are 2 kinds of heists: Those were the guys get away with it- and those that leave witnesses"
- Mike Ehrmantraut Breaking Bad
He didn’t exactly get away with this one. Nacho pegged him immediately precisely because he left that witness.
Mike would later be bothered by the innocent man that was killed, helping the police find the body.
Because searching for him and not finding the body would be half measure closure for the family.
Mike got a lot of people killed, he wasn’t a saint. He just as bad as Walt
@@KAzik10001he’s bothered, cause he realized he no better than the criminals he after. He causes just as much chaos

@@Kenny-the-Platypus the game? GTA 6???
@@scaramouche808THE game. The one Saul, Mike, Walter, Nacho and every criminal character in this show are playing.
No this guy was involved transporting for the cartel, it was a random good samaritan who helped this clown out who got killed.
Poor guy was just jamming out to some music and then this happened
Was probably even planning to have a family cook out the day after
Uh no. He was transporting for the cartel. He was in the game. The innocent one was the good Samaritan who helped him & got shot in the face by Hector, much to Mike's horror.
@@I_am_Junebug and that guy caused it? Is that your opinion?
😂
Such a catchy song to.
Mike forgets he’s dealing with a family of psychopaths… to them life is disposable.
It’s not a “game” where there are criminals and there are innocents… to Hector Salamanca no one else matters except him and his family.
But, Mike sees it as a “game”… and which is why he didn’t think this through.
This arc of him going after Hector on his own out of spite might be the most telling of his character in the long run
That’s why later he only makes sure to incriminate the drivers and disrupt the supply line. No innocents involved.
@@PoeticNixon
When did Mike go after Hector? Can you refresh my memory?
@anti-ethniccleansing465 He learned from Nacho that Hector killed a good samaritan that saved the driver and wants to kill him for “justice”.
@@anti-ethniccleansing465Mike got Tuco arrested and Hector threatened to kill Mike's family if he didn't lie that the gun Tuco was carrying was Mike's to reduce his sentence. So Mike went after Hector in this scene.
However, afterwards, an innocent person got involved and was able to free the driver, who called Salamanca before they could call the police and they killed the innocent person.
Mike hates when innocent people get caught in things and so he continued to go after Hector.
This must be in NM and not Mexico. Last I checked Mexico was nice and yellow-orange.
Jimmy was also happily singing on his drive before meeting Mike mid desert, under different circumstances 😂
0:58 - anyone, who watched BB knows, that if someone is happily singing like this, he's gonna die...
Me, someone who happily sings along: here's hoping
Or get pulled over by the police, yell at the cop and get pepper sprayed

@@varunvarma8183 maybe, but after all he died. He sentenced himself with that singing💀
Mike thinks so far ahead with this, making the driver think he’s behind the sign instead of behind the bush so he can sneak up, but he didn’t think far enough ahead to realize the Good Samaritan possibility. Was it his fault? No. Mike didn’t kill that innocent, the Salamancas did, they’re responsible for that death. But he wouldn’t have died if it weren’t for Mike doing this, and that’s something Mike never could have thought far enough ahead to realize
Mike could’ve easily drove that guy somewhere away from the scene to safety, instead of leaving him there for a good Samaritan to help. He literally left him there in the middle of the desert…
@@anti-ethniccleansing465that’s what the comment was saying, Mike couldn’t have thought of that and I don’t think most people would’ve anticipated that an innocent Samaritan would’ve gotten killed for that.
@@somemysteriousguy7114
My point is though that Mike left that driver out there to die. That road looks like hardly anyone ever drives on it, and even if a car eventually does drive by the dude before he dies of dehydration within 3 days, there’s no guarantee at all that they would bother to stop to help him or call authorities.
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 the driver was in the game, he wasn't an innocent driver he knew he was transporting goods for the cartel so why would mike save him? if he would've dropped him off somewhere near a city or a town, another samaritan would've found him and might get killed over it. Also didn't the truck have drugs inside? the truck is still there and someone could've came across it.
This I why Mike is my favorite character

The driver pulled up his inner Kenny for this scene.
I wish there was additional content that showed us what was said by all gagged characters.
I guess you could say Mike… nailed it.
Best scene ever from season 2.

That song will get in your head!!!!
I remember this song in the '70s or early '80s as "Don't Mess with My Toot Toot" or something like that - I recognized it as soon as I heard it. Would love more information on the Mexican version.
Badass Grandpa does a badass heist ❤❤❤
Finders keepers
Black is a terrible camouflage outfit to hide behind a tree in the desert....rookie!
Mike is not to blame for the Good Samaritan who was subsequently shot in the face due to this heist. The person who is actually at fault is Chuck. And by ‘Chuck,’ I mean Walt. It’s on Walt.
Loved all of this...starting from Mike(A.K.A Johnathan) having his cute little neice help him drill holes into the hose all the way up to extending it all across the road! Absolute genius!! 😮😊
I did feel sorry for the driver though...😢
Why did you feel sorry for the driver?? The dude was in the cartel, contributing to the death of God only knows how many people from the drugs they were selling.
caseoh playing contraband police
Imagine if Mike had accidentally cut up the money in the tire with that saw 😮
He'd be fine with it, the point was that he got their money and disrupted the supply line. He would be safer burning it all at that point.
He actually did, if you paid attention to the footage.
@@Supersquigi
I would love to know from a tire manufacturer if it would even be possible to put all that money into a tire to begin with, and if so, how to have that tire actually function for a super long drive like that. 😂
Ice cream trucks never drive around in the middle of nowhere like that.
They do when they’re full of drugs
This is supposed to be ‘authentic ice cream’ from Mexico the truck has to come from somewhere
This is what I hate about this show. Mike's gun appears ... absurd.
Mike takes ... 15 minutes?... min?.... and no other cars.... why would Mike put himself in a situation where he can't control the most obvious, and likely, threat. Suppose a car went by ...what would he do? ... he didn't even drag the guy off the side of the road. Was the money in a tire that was facing the road???
Unrealistic spike strip though. Even a real spike strip wouldn't blow a tire like that, especially a multi ply truck tire. Regular ones have hollow spikes to prevent a sudden blowout and Mike's was a series of regular hails, which still wouldn't cause an immediate blowout like that
How do you know that? Do you work in law-enforcement or something? Lol.

There is also the scene where he shoots the 2 corrupt police officers that killed his son.
