Father Kelly's Reel: Irish Viola

Not only do I play the Irish fiddle, but I also play traditional Irish tunes on the viola. It’s such a fun instrument to play, adding a low, warm voice to the live music.
In this video, I’m at a local Central Texas park in the Texas spring, playing Father Kelly’s Reel among the bluebonnet flowers. I play this tune in a different style than the fiddle.
