Google just released their new Agent Builder, here are my honest thoughts.

Not really, I want to watch a video of it. It feels more interactive that way, unless there's something else I'm missing.
We really don't need to use this. We can just have our own agents and run them locally. No fees, no privacy concerns, no nothing. Corporate AI is not the future

they make everything complicated. best part is how you end up working with the aspect ratio of a cinematic movie. Maybe Google Devs use their monitors in portrait.
True, at one point i got some authorization saying i should set up google identity on some random page lol like how would i know that no one has time to go through hours and hours of docs especially for this sort of stuff. people are already busy and just need something that works! I swear they randomly come up with workflows and only them know what they mean in their heads. When i tried setting the said identity it told me i'll lose permissions and i dont even know what permissions they were talking about, i clicked ok then got an error to try again later smh. Seriously the worst ux team

Thanks for making these videos. Its really eye opening that a titan like google can struggle and fail so badly at making a "simple" product. I say simple only because I believe a company of their magnitude and experience should be able to produce a well made product with the amount of experts they employ.

maaan, you are getting it personally.. The thing with the "video idea" it seem the problem is in a language.. I think you should ask to critique video TITLE idea not a video idea - I hope it makes sense.. (Especially if you know you talk to a lower tier AI model.)

This isnt what it's really like. There are several platforms to build on for different levels of users. I really like your content my friend, but Google Agents can outperform many of the agents out there that secretly run on an open AI or Google platform lol. There is also a settings tab for an uncensored version and code to go even farther uncensored. I do however want to try the agent you were talking about recently. Other than this you have great content bro keep it up.

It's wild watching some of the biggest tech companies talking big, with their pants around their ankles, when it comes to AI.

Its so useless , I tried the vertex search ai too linked with a sample wikipedia page and its rag feature couldnt even identify the relevant context for the most basic of questions

Thank you, David, for efficiently wasting our collective time. It was well worth the time to know which rabbit holes not worth the effort to dive into. So it's another major fumble by Google! Developers or management don't have pride in the quality of their craft or products anymore. Google gave us an "Agent" bot the equivalent of an infant who can creatively muster, FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!

They've been doing this playbook over and over. They make sure the ftrst release is a piece of shit, get massive bad publicity, then they drop ehat they really have and 10x the good publicity they could have ever hoped to get originally. Its a "over promise, uneer deliver" , "unser promise, over deliver" sleight of hand that people keep falling for over and over and over.
I made a chat bot over a year ago based on gpt 3 which successfully answered questions about climate and environment, in a single prompt. An ocean specialist chimed in, then a physics professor responds, then a meteorologist, etc. etc. until the user could type their followup or next question. Unlike this Big G crap show, it worked.
Theres free options but companies love easy stuff

Seriously the most disturbing part of this video is it is 19 hours old; meaning you could have only tested it like 1 or 2 days ago... and I would have assumed the release was much more polished based on the keynote. This looks more like a beta test.... and given the weirness of the link it might actually be a phishing site.... may want to do an IP lookup to see if it is actually google.
