This server went from "this feels kinda chill actually" to just an actual Doomsday event real quick
is this your fisrt time watching a life series ? because it's like that all the time
Can't really blame him. Even its too fast for me, or maybe its just from the pov of Pearl.
The last scene is just people having fun, playing 'shoot the button', watching Mumbo fails. The next scene is they are in the underground, they hear a 'warden' noise, and a wither health bar appears.
I don't know what kickstarted the apocalypse but It really feels too fast from the perspective of Pearl.
Usually happens every life series. One episode everyone's just chilling then another is the beginning of the end.

The fact there's no in-chat message when someone dies gets me every time 'cos like dang... you're just doing your own thing and sometimes aren't even aware your teammate isn't going to reconvene with everyone else at the end of the session. They're just gone. Ouch.
But it's also adding that on top of how chaotic this session was. Sometimes the distant screams of your friends being chased by a wither while you hide in a hole is a good little giggle.
The nuclear war is always a terrifying experience, but slightly less so when you are safe in your bunker.
I think they changed how the colors worked last season since limited lives was a bit different but that made the chat massages a bit weird. It was ok in LiL since there was the "XXX has runned out if time" thing but this season there's nothing

Hopefully next series they'll remember to have the messages show up - either in chat or blatantly on the screen. Even better if they fix it for next week's episodes. (It may have been overlooked and then suddenly 3 people are gone.)

@@katiep3820 One of Etho's tasks was to jumpscare people so he spent the entire session trying (and often failing) to scare people and then asking 'did that make you jump??'.
My favorite part of it is you can see etho path out where he needs to go, jumps his way over, waits for a lull in the talking, THEN drops the line
I love how joel and bdubs decided not to guess pearl's task, mounder solidarity!! o7 to the permadeaths this session...
I also love how, immediately after that show of loyalty from 2 mounders to a fellow mounder, Mumbo hears it but still immediately decides "let me drop an anvil on my fellow mounders". 😂

Ok, but am I the only one who found Pearl and Bdubs having a sleepover underground while ARMAGEDDON occurred cute? This is what the Mounders are about: living a peaceful life underground like moles.
Social Butterfly: You must stick with the first person you see until they interact with someone else. The new person is now your target until the next interaction. Repeat for the entire session. Also you must tell the person you were previously following "See you later, " as you run off with your new partner.

Kind of similar to the mumbo task where he had to be a socially anxious person
Given this task I would add the stipulation that you have to be called out by 3 separate yellows before failing.

Task Idea: You are a Vampire this session, at daytime you need blocks over your head (to shield you from the sun), and you can only enter peoples bases if they invite you to come in.
That’s good, this is quite hard so maybe it’s only for 45 minutes for blocks over your head because u need to do things in a session

This episode has SO MANY note worthy moments to it: the mounders being super wholesome and intentionally guessing Pearl's task wrong, the canary curse finally being broken, and then not just a warden, or a wither, but both a warden AND a wither being unleashed on the server! Can't wait to watch more perspectives and find out who did that!

It's truly atmospheric
Each session, I go: "Oh my gosh, this is the most insane one yet. This is as crazy as it gets." And then the next episode proceeds to surpass the previous in craziness.
Pearl being the first to drop life series episodes always makes my day..

Task Idea: Become a detective and help a yellow guess a green's task, if you haven't have a correct guess in the end of the session, you fail the task.
But if you guess the task, the green doesn't fail their task
i hope they make another secret life series.
the different POVs are just beautiful
its fun to watch multiple perspectives for all the life series but secret life is especially great with the tasks and getting context behind all the weird and crazy stuff going on constantly. one perspective will have skizz and bigb running and laughing maniacally away from pearl for a couple seconds with zero context but watching tangos episode will make it clear what happened and watching skizz; bigb or pearls episode will actually show the event. its like finding tons of different puzzle pieces every video
@@ViIvaNunner totally agree! i never bothered to watch multiple POVs until this series because it's just so worth knowing the tasks. i'm enjoying it so much
The concept is definitely really fun. Though I'd hope the tasks and general rules would be managed somewhat better in another task-focused series, because the communication of rules and consistency in task design quality (not as much the basic concepts as specific executions- for example, Gem having to not say a single truth for the entire session was just impractical, even if some of the interactions it produced were funny) have both certainly been rather meh at times. I mean, I do understand it, especially as it _is_ the first time and so no one really has experience with such complex rulings (the former life series all had much simpler concepts and less need for interpretation after all), but it can certainly be frustrating at least for me watching it sometimes.

Even funnier, that was _not_ the only instance of one Life member imitating another's accent this session! Joel pulled off a surprisingly good impression of Scott in one of the reds' videos (Jimmy's I think).
Watching skizz and Pearl try to out maneuver each other while also being hyper aware of the wolves who will kill skizz if Pearl does her task was so tense
Pearl's greeting has now become nostalgic to me at the beginning of each episode.

He's her angel on the shoulder who wants her to be good person and acts against her alliance with reds! He tried to prevent her from being violent. He does snitch a lot tho 🤣
This session went from chill to everybody’s dying in like 5 minutes.
Task idea: , , & are playing a game about collecting zombie eggs. The winner is the person with the most zombie eggs at the end of the session. Second place fails the game and task and Third place has to re-roll for a hard task next session. You can't use zombie farms others have created or spawners, you have to hunt them manually. Zombie eggs you have collected in past sessions do not count. Yellows have to name either the players playing or the game to call out the task. If they do, everyone re-rolls for a hard task. The players have to periodically talk with each other about how many eggs they've collected.
Oh wow. It felt like this series could last for ages the way it was set up but all of a sudden people are dying all over the place
Only reds really died. This season definitely has 2-3 more episodes left at least we’re going to make it to 8.

Task suggestion: Call everyone only by their in-game name for the whole session. You fail if you get called out.

Seeing Pearl protecting her dogs from the Wither is not what I was going for but what I definitely needed.
Tbh losing goodwill with 3 people and their friend groups is expensive so it'll be interesting to see the consequences of this task in later weeks.
But rerolling for hard task is very risky as well

It's not like there's any incentive for Yellows to guess a task, though. With all of the gaslighting going on (tasks that say, "Convince a yellow that your task is to " if I were a yellow, the only reason I'd bother is for the narrative element.

*_Task Idea_*
If at the end of a session there's only 1 green left, then next session, that green will have the following task:
*_For green player_*
As the last green, you are being hunted down by 3 yellows. Only way to pass this task is either guessing all 3 yellows hunting you, or them failing at killing you before end of session. You have 5 guesses. If you guess someone correctly, that one person fails the task and can't hunt you down anymore. For each incorrect guess, you lose 1 heart (self-inflicted damage however you want). If you run out of guesses and didn't guess all 3, you only pass the task if you survive until end of session. You cannot stay on someone's base for more then 10 minutes including your own. Yellows are not allowed to guess your task, and reds can't harm you this session.
PS: if last green is very low on hearts, he gets healed to X hearts. This will be a choice from the admins to make. Since if the green is very low, it would probably end very fast and be anticlimatic.. If admins choose to do it, then it should say on their task "You'll also be healed to X hearts this session" to avoid confusion on their part if they get suddenly healed.
*_For yellow players_*
Your task is to turn the last green into a yellow, but you can't directly hit them with your hand or weapons. You can only cause damage indirectly. Example: traps, dropping anvil, etc. You are on this hunt with 2 other yellows. If the green name guesses you are hunting them, you fail the task and can't hunt them anymore or help the other yellows. If he's still green at the end of session, all 3 yellows fail. Only way to succeed is to turn the green name into a yellow.
*_Important_* At the start of session, reds should have this note on their task: "For this session, you cannot harm the last green player. If you do, you fail whatever task you have. You can't tell this to anyone, or you also fail."
PS: I know this task would make a lot more sense being given to red names because of the killing part of it, but since red tasks are more of a repeatable and fast task, I feel it would be more interesting for yellows to do it, so the green name "joins" them, while in the background reds are still causing chaos with their tasks.

@@okebedoke Gem's guess with Scott's assistance would have been spot on though if not for the being called a traitor requirement. That made the task extremely hard for anyone to actually guess, though I suppose that was made a requirement because it could have been too easy to guess otherwise. I think Bdubs would have had the best shot because him shouting traitor just seems so on point for him.
Bdubs: Will you get hurt doing your task?

Sneak a onomatopoeia into every sentence when speaking to someone else (ex: huh, wow, woof, meow...).

Task Idea: You must spend at least 1 hour of the session in the water. It can be water you place but the timer stops any time you are on dry land. You can subtract 10 minutes for every player you convince to dive into the water with you

Pearl hear me out. Remove the tower and build a willow tree or a cherry willow with hanging lights on top of your mound! That would be so pretty. The cherry leaves will bring particle effects unless you get spore blossoms
Or use tower for the trunk and branch out from that. Don't think there will be time to work on it though. Especially if one of the firebugs go red next week

@@tigerlily6968 Well, Ren was in the first three seasons already, he just hasn't been around the last two. Not sure if he has said why he hasn't joined but he had some real life stuff to deal with during limited life I think.
Task idea- Take damage in the most embarrassing ways in front of two or more people THREE TIMES (does not have to be lots of damage)
(Optional Choice for the secret keeper: you will receive extra rewards/hearts for completing the task to make up for the missing hearts)
Secret task idea: "You are now subbing in for [Player Name], and [Player Name] is subbing in for you. You must act like you would if they were missing a recording session and you were taking their place, answering to their name, helping their allies, and pretending you are them and everything is normal. You switch back after the break. Yellows cannot make you fail by guessing this task. After switching back, each of you decides if the other succeeded in their task based on whether they did a satisfactory job in the others' place."
Inspired by Ren/Tango reminding me of all the "amnesia colds" from Limited Life.
The wither/warden scene underground felt like the beginning of an apocalypse movie. Gave very eerie vibes!
I think it's just fair that guessing the tasks is that hard because the tasks are getting harder, too.

Task Idea: Build a monument about the wither-warden fight where the fight took place. Get the noteblock device Etho and Grian used to lure the Warden out of the Deep Dark and place it on top of said monument.

Task idea: Take one block or more from everyone's base on the server and build a new house. Don't get called out!
Task Idea: Put pressure plates with hidden pistons that do absolutely nothing around their base and make them paranoid.
Red task idea: Get someone to gift you a heart then get their hearts down by 2.
I mean, the canary curse is over but, if Lizzie didn’t die first, well, we’d be laughing
Gotta love how Pearl asked Bdubs as a fellow Mounder for help with the skelly spawner area and by happy accident saved them both from heaps of damage! Here's to also hoping for a Bdubs win!
Task idea: When around other players, scream as loudly as you can about something completely irrelevant. Do this at least 5 times.
This task can be easily completed by literally any AHA players

If at least 3 players get mounts from it widout the spawner being found, you succeed.
> Make in another player's base a jukebox that automatically puts a disk to play, either in loop, or when it detects another player and see their reaction.
If you are caught or called out at any time, you have to go to another player's base.
> (Red) Use a trapped chest to activate a trap that hurts someone.
> (Red) Damage someone by jumping at them from above and criting widout being seen, Assassin's Creed Style.
> (Red) Hurt someone using a firework.

Pearl and Bdubs hearing the shenanigans with the warden and the wither and just grabbing the dogs and saying "that's none of my business ☺" hiding to continue working on the skellybones spawner is extremely relatable content tbh
Task Idea: 2 random people, lets just say for example Cleo and Bdubs have the same task of following each other for the session. They don't know that they have the same task, only that they must follow the other player and that they can only hand in their secret at the end of the session to be judged by the other player, except that's not the reason why... (I'll come to that later). The rest of the server does know they have the same task. The first one to call out the other as having the same task wins and the other fails. If neither of them guess that they have the same task, then at the end when everyone meets at the secret keeper they are told by everyone else they both fail.
I CAN'T BELIEVE TIMMY FINALLY BROKE THE CURSE
Task Idea:
For the whole session you will Swap personalities with *insert player name* and vice versa. You can discuss this task with them or avoid them as to not create suspicion, the choice is yours. Yellows can only call you out if you are together.

The obsidian one sounds like a hard task.
Gotta say, I think that probably should have counted as a guess for Gem, cause it's really hard to ever use that ability as yellow otherwise. With that said, obviously it's up to the Secret Keeper, and I'm certainly glad to see it work out for Pearl
Task idea- steal at least one item from every players chest with out being noticed. Three green names must call you out for you to fail, but If a yellow or red name calls you out, you fail immediately.

Task - You are in a race with four other players to create two items. In the first half of the session, your goal is to create a Potion stand. The first person to do so gets to complete their task. The second half of the session the remaining players are racing to create a potion of splash poison. The first player to do this will also get to succeed. The remaining players must fail their task.
Hard Task: Kill the Warden, in the Nether. Doesn't matter how you do so, only that it dies there.
Alternative Hard Task: Just bring the Warden to the Nether and escape with your life.

task idea #1- don't jump for the whole session, or just until break.
task idea #2- as soon as skizz and grian see each other they have to stay looking at each other for 5 or 10 minutes. If one of them fails it does not count as a fail for the other person, they can still continue with their task
task idea #3- bring up goodtimeswithscar in every other conversation until break. (passing by someone and saying something real quick such as "hey" or giving them a piece of information and running off does not count as a conversation so there is no need to do this in that circumstance)
