This is a rock collaboration arrangement by Scaredsim and myself together, covering the main themes taken from Metal Gear Solid I & II (PS1 & PS2), and of the first level theme from Metal Gear (NES), originally composed by TAPPY for Konami, with probable inspiration from Georgy Vasilyevich Sviridov's "Snow Storm". It also features coverage of the infiltration theme of the first level in Metal Gear (NES), originally written by Iku Mizutani, Shigehiro Takenouchi and Motoaki Furukawa.
This song is the very satisfying result of a long collaboration that lasted for around one year and a half, mostly because both of us were way too busy. It was submitted to the Dwelling of Duels contest in July 2011, where it ranked 3rd place.

Why isnt this on iTunes? I'm seriously dissapointed CarboHydroM, as the only songs on iTunes are Prime Legacy (album) and Unsealed as an Album, which is kinda disturbing. I have always known unsealed as a Medley, 1 song, now its separated in 20 songs, some as short as 14 seconds, and sold as an album??? come on....give to the fans what they deserve (my suggestion if you really want to make some money with it...). I want to see albums with all your songs as they are on youtube please. And please, also....make medleys as 1 song such as originally posted on youtube. A 14 seconds track is NOT a song....and its diplayed at 0.99$ individually on iTunes...a bit ridiculous
+RobyMicrobi I understand your standpoint. I can't say that I'm happy that Unsealed is fragmented like that on the music stores either, but there is a reason for that, please allow me to explain.
When I approached Loudr to ask them how I could legally release Unsealed as a licensed album (because that song is that special to me), they immediately warned me that being a 20 minutes medley based on 20 different source material tracks, and the royalties rate being fixed per source material track and per minute, I'd have to sell the song at a ridiculously high price to earn only one dollar in the end. That the only way to keep it at a reasonable price for the fans (and it's $5 for the whole album on Loudr, iTunes takes more money off of it so the price is higher there), was to break it into 20 different songs, which I did, just for the sake of releasing the album.
That's the reality of licensing big medleys and I cannot avoid it. This royalties system is just not appropriate for such songs. Perhaps I was just wrong to try releasing Unsealed on the major music stores. I'm truly sorry if it felt like a disappointment to you.
If anything, it still does not keep you from listening to it like one whole song, if you use a gapless audio player and download the album in a lossless format like WAV, FLAC or ALAC.
And then again, if all you want is to get the song in its original bulk form, it's also available at ocremix.org - just one big file like old times.
As you know, all my other arrangements like "Sounds Of Liberty" here are free downloads from my website, I'm just giving them away, so I never thought it would be a problem. If you'd still like to have my songs on iTunes, I need to have all of them licensed, which could take some time but is not impossible. And the Unsealed case would definitely not happen again.
