Hi Jeff, I'm curious about why you say nitrates are bad for plants. What is bad about them and if nitrates are the worst, what is the best?
About 16% of plants proteins are made from nitrogen and plants get it from nitrates. Nitrates are essential, there is no plants without nitrates.
