Big time rush DO write their own songs ok for both bands neither wrote the first album but then after that BOTH bands did. Btr wrote pretty much the whole second album. And, they are really talented.. if you here them live.

I'm sorry, but Big Time Rush will not be the next Nsync. For a couple of reasons. Nsync was not manufactured talent, they were organically formed. They didn't have a network who created them, and wrote songs for them. They had a lot of creative control, and wrote a lot of their own songs. Yes they were a boyband, but they had a unique quality that set them apart from the rest. Their five part harmony was on point, and overall, they're just way more talented than Big Time Rush.
This industry is a bitch. But they wanted it, and they got it. Right now, they're not that famous. But there will come a point where it'll get too hard for them, and they'll acknowledge it and want out. Yes, some people want to see them fail. But they can decide wether they wanna be "Nick" (From the Backstreet Boys) and have everything exposed on them. Or they can be like "Howie" (also from BSB) and hardly ever get any bad press.
