This video first appeared on FB Live in my Facebook Group - Understanding Glazes with Sue.
In the video, I read my blog post "How to Add Bentonite to a Wet Glaze" and take questions and comments live.
In this article, I talk about how we’re often taught to add bentonite to our dry glaze mix before adding water or else it will clump together and be hard to mix. But what if your glaze is already mixed with water? I have a trick that makes it easy to add bentonite to a wet glaze.

    Hi Sue, great video,
Just one question what is the ratio of bentonite to be added in the glaze ? How much percent do i use ?

My glaze is chipping off after dipping, how do I fix it? I’m using Laguna glaze and I’m adding bentonite, should I be adding more bentonite?

It depends, is it shrinking and cracking off? Or is it dry and powdery and brushing off? Bentonite won't fix the first issue, but could possibly help with the second. I would caution against adding too much of anything to a commercial glaze since we don't know what's in it. Maybe contact Laguna and describe your issue to them to see what they recommend.
