this album and this song especially are so ethereal to me. it's been so influential during a really difficult time in my life and the lyricism in these songs just feel like they connect to me on a deeper level than any artist has been able to. i think it has to do with the fact that i am also non-binary and was heavily influenced by internet culture and having that raise you as a kid. it really messes with your brain and ability to function in normal society.
This sends me back to my Scottish Garbage band brushed days, early 90's. I think it the mash up of a pleasantly projected beat and lyrics, ....but with sentiments that are anything but/ in between. Catchy and harassingly cutting. Keep the layers coming, feeling it!

I think they're very appropriate considering the tone and theme of the song, plus I think the line delivery is super cute which def helps to combat the Creep fatigue lol

3:36 The stuff she does here where she kind of goes out of the normal scale sounds like early Deftones stuff (like Adrenaline era). I really wanna hear Yeule over some Deftones-style music (kind of like that one obscure Coptic chick Amira Elfeky). I commented Aurora once how amazing it would be if she did a metal song, and a month later she was on the new Bring Me The Horizon album, more amazing than anything I'd imagined. And now she's singing with them live in Japan bringing viking cowherding calls to sexy sex metal. So I guess now I need to convince Yeule to do the same thing with Deftones or Sleep Token or whatever other metal band she likes that likes or would probably like her. (If you go with Sleep Token, sign your message as Neither Acid Nor Alkaline if you want to be really bold. 😘)
