Thanks bro, I hope you get a chance to go checkout the island. This is one of my favorite Islands to go visit.
My grandmother is from San Andres island. Research about the Raizal people (original people of African descent). Colombia and Nicaragua fought over owning the island and Colombia won but the original people are of African descent and are being made second class citizens. I haven’t been there since I was a kid but would love to go back and support Raizal owned businesses. Love this video! Top notch 👌🏽. Oh! And way to throw your wife under the 🚌! She’s gonna get you! 😆
Thanks so much. Hahaha yea I had to, I was pretty salty 🤣🤣. She knew I was. I love being there, I can't wait to go back soon. The people are so nice and it's so beautiful there. I always tell people to checkout the island.

Santa Marta or San Andres?
San Andres all day. When it comes to vacation, clean water and nice beaches I would go there. Of course San Andres is a place you want to bring someone with you. Santa Marta, it's up to you.
Great video man. I am planning my trip their in June. Question for you, do they accept credit card in majority of places or do you need to use everything in Colombian pesos. Keep up the great work, I am a fan bro..

exchange some us cash into colombian pesos . u will not regret it
@@michaelking91 Also use the ATM instead of exchanging money. You lose more when you exchange.
Do you think getting an Airbnb instead of staying at fancy hotel would still be good?
I know a buddy that stayed at one. He said he had a good time. I'm sure you'll have a good experience.
When is the best time to visit? Do they have hurricanes?
Just recently at the end of 2019 or in 2020, they had a hurricane. I haven't heard much prior to that last hurricane. I've been there in March and in October and didn't have any issues during those 3 trips. I would say the best time to go would be between Jan-Sept.

@@firefistluffy4607 believe me, you will enjoy yourself. One of the biggest benefit is it isn't cold in San Andres lol. It's best if you go with someone to San Andres, I wouldn't suggest going alone.
@@TheSoloTravelerORD in regards to safety going alone or just enjoying myself? I’m going with a friend from Colombia but it will be her first time out there as well.
@@firefistluffy4607 Not for safety but for fun. I'm glad that you're going with someone and she will enjoy it. Make sure to check out Johnny Cay and do the aqua dive if you can.
