When I first heard this song earlier this year, our dog was falling asleep in my arms. Ever since then it has become "Gigi's Song" to me. Now she's started to get confused in her old age (16 yrs) and I'll play this song and hold her until she dozes off. She may never hear it (she's gone deaf 2 years ago) but I hope she feels comforted at the times I put it on to hold her when she starts getting anxious.🐾💚
This literally brings tears to my eyes every time. The one word that most describes this song the most is "wistful." The whole song feels like a sentimental goodbye to a magical place that only now exists because of the memories made within its boundary. A place that must be left behind in order to create new memories and more beautiful places. A place that will now live on in eternity thanks to the love shared in it.

We'd always do weekend trips Friday to Sunday, and due to school we'd leave at 5:00 P.M at the earliest. The feeling of calm as I waited to arrive is the exact same one this song evokes.

Love this song to death (reLly like the open song too) and love the anime! I also love to go camping and hiking!! I live in maine now but when I lived in Connecticut during high school I went on class trips twice a year to hike and camp the Appalachian trail eventually we completeled all the trail system that ran thru CT it was very fun we stayed out there each time for a week hiking and camping 🏕 saw some amazing sights and experienced good times the classes that participated were about atleast a group of maybe almost 20 that's students and a few teachers As i grew up my fav place to hike in CT was Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden. Eventually when I was older and had a job I would bus ride from my town and reconnect on another bus didn't take too long e ery Monday on my day off sometimes Wednesdays and I would spend all day sunup to sundown hiking the Giant. When I wasn't hiking sleepy g I was biking and hiking locally on trail systems not far from my home wonderful years I miss dearly. Maine has alot of hiking and camping but I have problems getting to any real good spots. Some of the local trails are nice though and I have fun
