I like how others' limitations come from lack of training or experience while Sogiita's come from him being dumb

Gunha's the man and his guts are a source of inspiration to us all. Also, aren't all espers chuunis? Their personal realities are literally their delusions that they project on the world

Each esper's power has rules, but,
could sogita's power be that his psychic abilities have no rules, so he is only limited by his intelligence and ideas...
Probably something closer to Takitsubo's power to "control AIM fields" or Aiwass / Kirizaki "being made of AIM" one.
None of his powers are actually outside of espers capacity (even the fully phisical ones we have exemples like Tsuchimikado who can regenerate from Magic Rejection or Ruri and Junko who boosts muscular output), the problem is only that he can do too many things with what should be just one power.
Takitsubo's lvl5 is theorized by the council to be something in the lines of "changing the target power by hacking his AIM", and as a lvl4 she can already track (VS mikoto), control (when she targets Mugino's shots in WW3) and totally rip parts off (Beetle05)... so a lvl5 Gemstone of said power could do basically anything

I should also say, Gunha is probably the least useful lvl 5 esper in Aleister’s plans too which is why he’s 7th.

Our own version of Goku honestly lol i just love the attitude of this character and its cool that we get to see him in little bits for peak enjoyment, definetly hoping for either that spinoff or at least get his important character arc in GT

I always thought that his ability was actual Magic in its most basic forms that his Personal Reality shapes into whatever Sogiita wants as long as he understands it.
Thanks! Gemstone powers are more akin to magic, since magic was created as a response to rival gemstones, as discussed in my video about the topic :P
Thanks for the video, Aeon. That was actually my theory as well. My theory was that since Sogiita is considered a “natural esper”, it would be cool if it turned out that, unlike artifical espers whose personal reality is ‘usually’ limited to a specific ability (electromagnetic, vectors, teleportation, etc), Sogiita is special in that, his personal reality can “expand” to include every and all abilities as he learns.
In other words, as you also said in the video, if he dedicates himself towards understanding every other esper’s abilities, and not just ‘guts’, he could potentially be the “ultimate esper”- one who is not limited by one specific type of personal reality/delusion, but rather can gain all esper abilities, by expanding his “delusion” or personal reality to encompass all esper abilities.
I really love this because it shows that if Gunha was dedicated in becoming the strongest most invincible superhero, then he could become the next number one esper, surpassing accelerator. Of course, i am not disrespecting accelerator. Accelerator is still limited to ONE personal reality, but if I recall correctly, he is getting massively stronger by applying magical elements to his esper powers, right?
So, I like how the author makes his espers grow in unique and individual ways. Accelerator’s path to the stronger would be mastering magic and esper (despite it supposedly not being possible). Gunha’s path to the strongest would be understanding and utilizing ALL personal realities that he encounters. It does raise the question though, what do you think is Misaka’s path to becoming stronger or being the strongest? Do you think Misaka should utilize magical applications too? Or is there a unique path she can take to becoming stronger?
Strangely enough, I actually prefer the logic of Sogita's abilities compared to other espers. Sometimes overly complex scientific explainations sound more ridiculous than the literal BS of Sogita's😂. The fact that Sogita embraces the BS and rolls with it also makes his character really endearing. Bro is button mashing his way through the verse

10:05 🤔. So basically if Sogiita ever reached his greatest potential he could be a level 6 or something 🤔. Sounds like he's over powered in alot of ways but if he ever got past some of his limits he'd be unstoppable like even more powerful the Accelerator. Maybe. You make it seem like all he has to do is breakthrough his limits to achieve some higher power like a level 6 or something.
Possibly, from the comments made by Junko after he started tapping into his full power, it made her think if he should even by ranked at 5 which just shows you a glimpse of the amount of energy he could produce at full potential

Hi Aeon. What an interesting video. I really like Sogiita. Even though he is an airhead, I will admit that his fight with Misaka attracted my attention a bit more than the fights that I saw with Accelerator. In fact, it blew me away when I saw him throw and them catch Touma, like a princess. He mentioned that he wanted to fight Touma again, which made me wonder if he would start to go looking for Touma, a bit as much as Misaka does. Yes, Sogiita does seem to be way more powerful than Accelerator, but he doesn't have Accelerator's intelligence. I thought that his and Touma's teamwork was awesome. I remember reading about the gemstones and thinking those were so interesting. I wish that more had been done with that.
Only so far, Sogiita is more flashy for sure in anime but Accelerator... let me tell you hes done many things that either mess with the planet or even beyond space 😂

Very well thought out and presented video. Sogiita is definitely one interesting and likeable guy. There is something to be said about keeping things simple and enjoying the simple pleasures in life. Seems to me that is a good thing in many ways and it makes him an enjoyable plus relatable in a lot of ways. I myself prefer, when I can, to go by the acronym "KISS"... Keep it simple stupid. So this already makes him pretty dang enjoyable and right up my alley in that respect lol.
I would love to see him become more powerful and figure out a few things about himself. As long as it does not take away from his personality as it is. I believe in the beauty of keeping things simple and easy going so having someone like that is something that should not change. He would lose a lot of his charm and enjoyment if his personality changed a lot and became "brainy" for lack of better words.

LET'S GO!! Another video from my main source of toaru knowledge. I love this series and wanna read the novels but idk where to start and at the same time I'm pretty sure I would need to reread from the beginning or something or I'll miss crucial info
The ideal is that yes you read from the beginning bc as u mentioned it skipped and cut so much from each character and magic side that the emotional impact is lacking in anime and the first novel series is toaru old testament, but if you reaaaaally really want to fine you can just read toaru SS2 then jump on new testament.
Aeon has put several videos that can help you out on how to proceee with the series or you can also check the toaru subreddit which has all the info u need (as well as the novels online)
Reading from the start is recommended for the full experience!

I have an idea... Sogiita's ability made think about his intelligence and confidence. What if his powers rely on his beliefs and his thoughts of what he thinks is possible?
As far as Ican see all of Sogita's powers can e defined or circumvented as forms of Psychokinesis
3:27 I don’t think he just ‘broke out of’ misaki’s mental out control. I think he straight up copied the canceling power of Imagine breaker, as Misaki specifically heard that something shattered. She didn’t feel the connection break. She HEARD it break.

The fact that my man Sogiita's power is so unpredictable that not even scientists can figure out what it is shows how talented my man is. If the scientists figured out how his power, he would eaaily be top 3 Level 5's maybe even higher than Kakine. I'll argue this anytime however I'll say it now, Sogiita would definitionly beat Misaka in fight.
Sogiita easily has the greatest potential out of all the level 5's. If Sogiita reaches his true potential, then my man could literally surpass failed magic gods and might reach the magic god status. While he's definitionly the dumbest level 5, the fact he's able to copy other espers powers shows how he's easily top 3 smartest in fighting as a level 5. My man literally defies all physics to make it happen. THAT"S WIllPOWER! GUTS!!!!!
He needs his own Misaka to unlock his power.

So other than the counter that was mentioned in the video, that being to throw something at Sogiita that he doesn't understand. Would another counter to Sogiita just be to give him self esteem issues? Aka deprive him of guts.

I think he has the ability to either warp reality unknowingly or he could subconsciously change his own ability considering the nature of his AIM field.
Yea he’s just a super chuuni. Espers project their delusions and that’s how their powers manifest so imagine the unlimited delusions of a chuuni were real as long as they believe they are😂

By the way, Aeon, speaking of which, it would be cool if you could do a video theorizing what ways Misaka can get stronger. Because from what I am hearing from future arcs beyond the anime, she doesn’t seem to be much compared to the stronger characters in Toaru/railgun. So other than the tech enhanced by Aleister’s magic, what other ways can she get closer to her level 6 potential without, you know…dying? Should she utilize magic? Is the sisters network the key? I don’t know if this makes any sense but maybe she can somehow powerup such that she would no longer explode or die if she were to reach level 6. In other words, maybe there is a way for her to reach level 6 without dying. The thing is, what power-up would most likely help with that?

One way I think she could be more powerfull is to discover even more ways to use her powers, like apparently electricmagneticfields is one of the fundamental forces in the universe, so maybe that could be something huge?
Another way is for her to simply get an increase of electric powers to make it simple.
Something I would Image, is the ability to deactivate the magneticfields between molecules resulting in any materials to just fall apart and disappear into microscopic dust, if my understanding of magneticfields on atoms is correct. Or do a full on magneto and pull iron from the blood or something Idk.

Maybe she is the type of individual that can’t take shortcuts via magic like Accelerator, and will eventually reach level 6 through practice alone of the fundamental force of electromagnetism. In other words, the closer she gets to understanding it, the moment she reaches level 6.
The thing is, isn’t that kinda of cheap? Level 6 as least to my observation, Has always been hyped up to be a transformation that one cannot just reach through hard work alone. The story seems to always have portrayed level 5 to be the bottleneck and hard stop where hardwork will get you to. Anything beyond level 5 would truly take an absolute miracle or a rare, risky, dangerous and unique strategy to reach. That’s how the story treats level 6.
The reason why I think this is the case is because if level 6 was truly something one could achieve with hardwork alone and not any sort of cheats (like magic), then Kihara Gensei wouldn’t need to force the transformation on Misaka. Accelerator wouldn’t need to kill clones in order to reach level 6 (even if that may not be the original intention of the clone massacre). Level 6 has always been a transformation that has been implied to require some rare and dangerous ritual or process to be able to achieve.
So for Misaka to just reach level 6 by merely, “understanding the electromagnetic force” might seem a bit cheap. The only way I can see this working, is if maybe Misaka is the ONLY person who could pull it off. Maybe she works so insanely hard to the point of insanity that she manages to be only person to reach such a level of power.

I have not seen Bereserk 2016-17 or Berserk 1997-98 or though I have seen many reviews on Berserk and videos about it's toxic fanbase. and The Life of Guts video on The Amagi's Channel and this all how I know the 2nd Black Swordsman Guts and the 1st Black Swordsman Kirito was introduced to me via the Aincrad Players in Sword Art Online and I'm alright with their being 2 Black Swordsmen. Though I choose not to be into Berserk because of the Toxic Fanbase and Berserk has too much gore for me, also I've seen other Mature Animes out there too.

i just watched toaru s first season but i see a lot of people saying that they changed A LOT of things from the light novel i want to read the light novel but for me to read something like that i need images so all i want to say is is the manga good or???

@@stbjona131 yes, OT2 (deep blood) and OT4 (angel fall) got butchered the most in the anime and manga totally skipped them so you definetly should read those 2 volumes while reading the manga.
The other problem is that the manga is monthly and it has only covered not even 18 volumes compared to the light novel or even the anime that adapted 22 volumes

@@stbjona131 mmm, you can but if you go the anime route then id keep an eye out for the season 3 bc index season 3 tried to adapt 9 long volumes (from OT14 to OT22) in just 26 episodes and makes everything way too confusing for the most part so you can always read those later if you want.

Sogiita Gunha is my favourite out of the 7 level 5's due to his similarities to Kamijou Touma (heroic, has powers beyond understanding, and is friendly) but also he is Kamachi's version of a Shounen protag such as Goku or Saitama and even Japanese superheroes like Super Sentai. What's spooky is Gunha is the 7th level 5 and is said to have the powers to equal God if he could understand them. In many parts of the world, the number 7 has a lot of meanings, perfection, is seen as a very lucky number but is also commonly linked to God in the bible due to God created the world in 7 days and rested on the 7th day. So it wouldn't be shocking to see Gunha throw Magic God's around like Rag Dolls if he fully understood what his powers are because GUTS said so.
