Pay to progress in an MMO with open world PvP is 100% pay to win. Especially in games where there's a soft cap. This is exactly how BDO was as well. And BDO was killed by p2w imo. Whales are keeping it alive. Also, you can break equipment on enchants. So when everyone is hitting soft cap and the only power to gain is from weapon enchants, enchants are all that will matter. I'd bet everything that they will come out with an item that protects the item from breaking on failed enchants. Guaranteed. They sell auto pick up. That's gross. Map pins? Even worse. All these should be in base game. Inventory and storage should be added to gamepass, and traits should be gotten rid of. If you're stuck with Roblox level gaming, just buy deepwoken.

You can use in-game currency to upgrade your inventory, it’s meant to be that way, paying with robux is just for people who want to skip the process of gaining souls to spend on upgrading inventory

I'm f2p and it's actually a pretty fun limitation, I'm chilling with 35 slots and I'm not having a problem. Essence is also easy to get as you get stronger, like how you'll need more slots as you get stronger.
Honestly my biggest problem with DoC is that the game just feels repetitive. Its just "Kill a gazillion skitter soldiers and a gazillion skitter generals" to just do it all over again or go to the other end of the map just to go back to continue to main story. Theres also these dumbass mounts that take a few hours to make it mountable after spending a bunch of time on that dumbass gambling system
I agree. I find the combat system enjoyable, so I don't dislike kill quests that much, but even if you enjoy the combat, it's doing a LOT of the same bs over and over. The mounts are an entirely different issue. I don't entirely mind the way the game is though, because it has lots of pros to level out the cons, and it's also brand new. Looking forward to dungeons and new weapons getting released.

I personally haven’t had any issues with the movement speed in the game. Though that is mainly because I slide around a lot. But it is annoying how slow the base movement speed is. I wish mounts weren’t based on an rng system. The only mount I know that isn’t locked behind an rng system is the turtle you get later on in the story. But it’s a water mount.
My problem with the entire mount situation is that when the game first started dropping trailers and stuff like that one of the main draws that they used was the mounts, so for the game to drop and it to be so difficult that you have to either grind for a mount or pay money is kind of ridiculous (even though I don't think that it's that bad to just walk/run around)

the catacombs bandit beater quest is outrageous. 55 total kills of mobs that are incredibly tanky especially at the average level you usually do it at (30-35) and do like 600 dmg per m1
I'm at this point tbh. I just beat the skeleton soldier but the skeleton generals is a pain in the butt. They also have wider aggressive space that positioning yourself is hard because by the time you finished defeating one of the mobs, others would spawn and will continue to attack you.
I'm lvl 40 and I'm not on that quest yet. Maybe ya'll are just underleveled because you rushed the main story like every other dogshit player? Though, you are right those catacomb mobs are HARD HARD. I still don't have 200 gems and I've been grinding them since level 37

After playing DoC for a few hours the best way i could describe the game is that its a basic mmo somehow mixed with a Bandit beater and A LOT of P2W features. As someone who has played a lot of MMO's in the past i first thought the game was just gonna have bad early and mid game but amazing end game content (like most MMO's do) but even after hours and hours of gameplay and the awful grinding the current "end game content" is very dull and doesn't feel at all rewarding. Speaking of the awful Grinding, doing it for hours you'll also notice both the class and combat Systems are very basic and don't really bring anything new or unique with the exception being that u can use 2 Weapons. I gotta say, DoC is definitely better then a lot other garbage that came out this Year on Roblox but the game has so many Qol features it needs along side improvements to the general gameplay to make the game unique and more fun to play. Also the P2W features need to be removed (ik the devs gotta make money from the game but what they currently do is way to much)
Problems imo: inventory: since it takes so many materials to craft stuff i literally cant hold onto any extra gear or potions p2w: random gp that should be part of the f2p progression slower/ repetitive progression past lvl 20 ish Mount issue lvl locked gear which means that rare stuff u get around lvl 20 cant be used until lvl 30 and u do way less damage against mobs that are lvl 30

nobody is adressing the limited inventory space? 20 inventory spaces for ALL items, including materials, scrolls and what not, equipment etc, my inventory takes about 15 out of 20 JUST for MATERIALS, but I can't just throw them away cuz i'll need them later, every other game has a different inventory bag for materials and miscellaneous, they have everything merged so you can pay even more to get inventory slots, they ask you if you want a better value pack when buying the 1500 option, for 150 robux you get 3 invetory spaces, IM SURE THATS A MUCH BETTER VALUE, considering that person doesn't even have robux, like be so fkg frl have some dam shame
Honestly after level 15 I haven’t had any problems with inventory. Passively farming and selling equipment you get enough in game currency to buy inventory. And there’s a storage system in the game. Annoying still yeah but mid game it’s not as much of a problem

When grinding for mats up to legendary materials, shit needs a shit ton of inv space, including potions since the mobs are so strong and ofc space for the weapon drops from the mobs. I do wish they didn't make 35 the limit for f2p.

Here's an even bigger problem, gearing past lvl 30 is really dumb its either i have to endlessly farm the same npcs for a .01 percent drop chance for my full set of armor and both weapons or i farm hundreds of materials for ONE piece of gear which has a chance to be destroyed on crafted AND enchanting

PS the mount quest is easy. You just need to stock up on the blue sigils and basic healing potions. The only stage that takes time is the killing 12 female grizzly bears and 10 forest werewolfs
Yes, I agree it is a pay to win game, but its not that hard to get a mount. So if you're level 20 u can do the riders quest (and no u don't have to get there in the storyline), I was level 23 when I started, it took me like 7-10 mins to complete a quest and there is a 9% chance to get a mount since there are 3 mounts and the % to get them is 3% each. If you don't know the method, its pretty simple, all u have to do is buy a lot of mini health potions and enigmatic sigils, then u don't need to run back to viridis castle. Now im level 33 and i sell mounts for essence since it take me like 5 mins max to complete the quest

The thing that annoys me is the fact that after you have made a character you can't delete that character. I accidently chose the wrong class and now im stuck with that class or i have to spend roblox for a new save.
The mount quest was just hell... I kept doing it over and over and ended up with 150k money and just decided to buy a mount from the Market which goes for that much. Now off i go to grind for hours more still mountless cuz my mount is completely f**king useless and needs to level up to be usable for some god damned reason.

the thing is the mobs for the mount quest you should already be killing anyways because its the fastest way to get from 20 to 30 so your gonna be farming them for hours regardless the quest is actually quite convenient also it takes like 10 mins, you follow him around then you have to kill like 12 wearwolves and like 10 female grizzlies to something you can do that in like 2 to 2 cycles with grouping and the second part is to get some items from one of the shop in viridis but If you stock up on them before hand you don't need to go get them because you'll alr have them, so my tip is run greatsword and bow so you can pull the mobs and then most likely be 2 shotting with aoe gs skills and stock up on the items before hand so you can turn it it in right away and you can average like 6 chests per hour
Not able to set respawn points in very annoying If your very far on the map and you don't have a mount When you die respawn all the ways to the start and you need walk to get there
Guys idk if this is the most reliable option but in town of virdis there is market where people sometimes sell mounts. Hope this helps anyone looking for them
Yeah i grinded till I am lvl20+ and brute forced my way to the quest that gives the turtle mount and oh boy that orc quest is really hell for me dying a lot of times and travel back to the hunting ground is hell for me
The way you speed run mount quest is buying multiple sets of the potions and gems and you use the escape scroll to get to the town because you get so many

Heres a lost of issues that I have come across with this "game" Weapons breaking when enchanent fails, Mounts being locked behind paywalls or gacha system. Enemies being reskins so no variety of attacks. Essentials being locked behind paywalls. Gameplay gets boring doing the same thing for a few hours, mostly because of enemies not having a variety. Gachas. Weapons and armors breaking when you craft it.

There isn’t even any crazy micro transactions, most are cosmetic and the only one that is useful is the mounts which you can gain through basic progression and they aren’t needed either way

nobody is adressing the limited inventory space? 20 inventory spaces for ALL items, including materials, scrolls and what not, equipment etc, my inventory takes about 15 out of 20 JUST for MATERIALS, but I can't just throw them away cuz i'll need them later, every other game has a different inventory bag for materials and miscellaneous, they have everything merged so you can pay even more to get inventory slots, they ask you if you want a better value pack when buying the 1500 option, for 150 robux you get 3 invetory spaces, IM SURE THATS A MUCH BETTER VALUE, considering that person doesn't even have robux, like be so fkg frl have some dam shame
Honestly after level 15 I haven’t had any problems with inventory. Passively farming and selling equipment you get enough in game currency to buy inventory. And there’s a storage system in the game. Annoying still yeah but mid game it’s not as much of a problem

I was so wrong in my statement when I didn't care about it, oh how I was so so wrong. When grinding for mats up to legendary materials, shit needs a shit ton of inv space, including potions since the mobs are so strong and ofc space for the weapon drops from the mobs. I do wish they didn't make 35 the limit for f2p.
Tbh my biggest problem with the game is inventory i already bought every free slot in the inventory and just the material until epic your inventory is already full just material alone
i also LOVE that crit chance dosen't work on skills! im really sorry for every person that went a dexterity build.

Here's an even bigger problem, gearing past lvl 30 is really dumb its either i have to endlessly farm the same npcs for a .01 percent drop chance for my full set of armor and both weapons or i farm hundreds of materials for ONE piece of gear which has a chance to be destroyed on crafted AND enchanting

Yes, I agree it is a pay to win game, but its not that hard to get a mount. So if you're level 20 u can do the riders quest (and no u don't have to get there in the storyline), I was level 23 when I started, it took me like 7-10 mins to complete a quest and there is a 9% chance to get a mount since there are 3 mounts and the % to get them is 3% each. If you don't know the method, its pretty simple, all u have to do is buy a lot of mini health potions and enigmatic sigils, then u don't need to run back to viridis castle. Now im level 33 and i sell mounts for essence since it take me like 5 mins max to complete the quest

i find it weird that healers scale off INT, imo. usually in mmorpgs its a separate stat that affects output healing or just health amount etc. it seems op that mages can use the fire staff while also being able to heal themselves 😭🤣

The thing that annoys me is the fact that after you have made a character you can't delete that character. I accidently chose the wrong class and now im stuck with that class or i have to spend roblox for a new save.
The mount quest was just hell... I kept doing it over and over and ended up with 150k money and just decided to buy a mount from the Market which goes for that much. Now off i go to grind for hours more still mountless cuz my mount is completely f**king useless and needs to level up to be usable for some god damned reason.
Something that annoys me is there is no quest gui telling you your progress on a quest.
There is.Press tab to see players then under is the progression for the quest.But the games so MID its nor worth to grind.U might as well play other games outside of roblox

It’s way harder to add mobile accessibility to a game of this extent.
the thing is the mobs for the mount quest you should already be killing anyways because its the fastest way to get from 20 to 30 so your gonna be farming them for hours regardless the quest is actually quite convenient also it takes like 10 mins, you follow him around then you have to kill like 12 wearwolves and like 10 female grizzlies to something you can do that in like 2 to 2 cycles with grouping and the second part is to get some items from one of the shop in viridis but If you stock up on them before hand you don't need to go get them because you'll alr have them, so my tip is run greatsword and bow so you can pull the mobs and then most likely be 2 shotting with aoe gs skills and stock up on the items before hand so you can turn it it in right away and you can average like 6 chests per hour
Not able to set respawn points in very annoying
If your very far on the map and you don't have a mount
When you die respawn all the ways to the start and you need walk to get there
Guys idk if this is the most reliable option but in town of virdis there is market where people sometimes sell mounts. Hope this helps anyone looking for them

Yeah i grinded till I am lvl20+ and brute forced my way to the quest that gives the turtle mount and oh boy that orc quest is really hell for me dying a lot of times and travel back to the hunting ground is hell for me
The way you speed run mount quest is buying multiple sets of the potions and gems and you use the escape scroll to get to the town because you get so many

Honestly the mount quest is annoying but it’s not bad, I mean in world zero it was kill 1000 boars or something for the only free mount, and the rewards from the wheel are pretty good
Heres a lost of issues that I have come across with this "game"
Weapons breaking when enchanent fails,
Mounts being locked behind paywalls or gacha system.
Enemies being reskins so no variety of attacks.
Essentials being locked behind paywalls.
Gameplay gets boring doing the same thing for a few hours, mostly because of enemies not having a variety.
Gachas.
Weapons and armors breaking when you craft it.
In conclusion, the game had potential, but greed corrupted a decent game.
I agree with u in everything except the lvl 22 boss bit as you can see that boss is lvl 37 this is the game indirectly telling u that u NEED to grind side quests and lvl up to catch up on the lvls

literally as a weaker class I cannot pass those lvl 28 ogres at all and i guess thats my biggest complaint even above mounts, as a f2p player
I feel like devas of creation forces you to play with people instead of single grinding due to the level difference of the mobs it's like a 6-level difference and in this game 6 level is a good difference in health and damage
You still have to grind, there is no way to just buy max level and all weapons upgraded and armour, plus most things are just rolls

When you kill someone or someone kill you u lose your item something that you delicate your time into grinding take a whole day just to gain 2 lvls they need to change that bc i literally lost 2 of my weapons that i had equipped took me so long to get it😢
Devas is an mmo in good and bad ways like having lots of micro-transactions.
There isn’t even any crazy micro transactions, most are cosmetic and the only one that is useful is the mounts which you can gain through basic progression and they aren’t needed either way

There is ZERO reason you should have to pay for basic map markers and to pick up all items at once and on top of that the mount quest is only a 3 percent chance of getting one after doing a long quest line and when you finally do what do you know you gotta spend hours getting it to level 10 to even use it. unless they do some major changes the game will flop in about a month because right now it's literally just a glorified p2w bandit beater.

there’s an acceptable amount of qol locked behind paywalls, and then there’s devas. plus, hundreds of roblox games are fully monetized off of premium benefits by using AFK worlds (which devas has), so to me this game will forever be a game that could’ve been good but got ruined by money hungry game design
The thing abt mounts is tbh understandeable, its a MMO game somehow u gotta grind for things. But in my case I did pterodactyl quest and got it first try but for horse mount i spend 22 attempts to get it, its just luck

Why does devas of creation make my internet die
The save Ariel mission is bugged and its pissing me off plus i wished there was more diverse magic in the game as well as levelling up your weapons snd armor at the blacksmith
game also lacks skills and class diversity. I was expecting Devas of creation to have a class system and other unique magic system and skill tree and unique weapon builds and design but no they only have 2 weapon for each 10 level which sucks cuz they dont have any pasive perks like from Vesteria or a good magic and adventure system like arcane odyssey.
each mobs should also atleast drop their own unique weapons

There is another problem that you aren't safe even you turned off pvp, you lose nothing but time. Imagine grinding peacefully and a random group of people jump on you then you have to respawn and walk back to the place to grind

I have been able to progress pretty easily as f2p ngl and ppl would complain anyway if the game was pay to play like deepwoken and not somewhat p2p.
The paid stuff should feel worth it, not stuff which should be free, paid stuff should only be cosmetics and nothing more.

Their is a level 29 boss that is hard to kill u just got to dodge and parry and it has a 1% chance of dropping that’s what I did for mount at level 16
Im lvl 38 with 78% into the story without a mount but i have the turtle mount now from the glimmershade quest
Once i saw that it cost robux to change your ear I knew what type of timing the devs were on 😂
