- Inside of Westminster Abbey for over 400 years a Queen of England was left unburied. Royal burials were usually huge spectacular events for example the funeral of Elizabeth I which brought an end to the Tudor period was huge and incredible. Henry VIII’s funeral for example even had to see roads being wider for it to pass by and he would then be buried inside of St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Henry VIII wanted to be interred in a huge tomb but this would never happen as the tomb was never finished by his children following his death. But Henry VIII’s great grandmother would be subjected to a harrowing afterlife in which her corpse and remains were treated terribly after her death. Catherine of Valois is remembered today for being the Queen of England who was left unburied for 400 years inside of Westminster Abbey, but what is the story of her harrowing treatment.
Even a corpse deserves consent. 😢
How depraved some humans can be, stealing body parts, and touching a corpse. 😢 RIP Queen
That sounds like absolute barbaric treatment of one of our former queens.
No one deserves this treatment after their death, but definitely not a Queen. This was a disgusting way to treat her.I can’t believe they even took bones away from her and her teeth. But she should have been buried correctly in the first place ,then none of this would have happened.😒
That is so sad to treat a queen like that - not even buried after 400 hundred years
Geez. Pepys kissed a dead queen. 😮
Morbid & gross. Who knows what other kinky stuff he was into 🤢🤮
Ain't it weird it looks like Kate Middleton?
You title this post as 'Opening the coffin.....etc but show nothing of it! Garbage.
That would be very disrespectful after all she has been through after her death.
If so, then why insinuate that the coffin was going to be opened? It's clickbait, that's why! Hoaxers!@@headishome8452
Wow, Queen Catherine was the most unfortunate queen . I min to be buried after 400 yrs with some of her skeletons missing is really sad💔😧
Serves her right for marrying the keeper of her clothes LOL. Long live King Richard III
