I tried actually to have an open mind last week watching a clip from their show, and it’s fucking unbearable. Jim sounds old, Sam sounds like a even-duller Opie.
This is not a trip up, this is Sam exposed. all he does is sarcastically comment on when others are being hacky. Outside of that he brings nothing to the table and has no funny. Him riffing is just reiterating points in a paraphrased way. Hate him more than Opie and it’s not close
Opie is arrogant, but at least he only hurts himself by being that way. Sam backstabbed his way to the position he’s in now. He’s sarcastic and cowardly, and you know it’s bad when you host a show with Jim Norton and he’s the one with a backbone.

@ Nobody thinks this was a screw up. The show they featured is absolute dog shit. We’re shitting on him because of how hacky he is on his own, as was shown when they were playing clips from his own show. We understand they only went after Sam to mess with him.
Plus opie understood how to create news. Anthony and Jimmy never had the drive to do anything newsworthy. They had funny and compelling conversations but we would have never heard them if opie didn’t understand old school radio.

Finally my hometown. KISS FM was by far the worst, I would listen to 105.9 and 102.5 depending on the DJ. 102.5 only for sports talk, 94.5 eventually grew on me for music
