I agree, German is difficult, even for German speakers. I live in Switzerland and many German natives don't understand anything we say because Swiss German sounds like a completely different language. And in German, we have different expressions for the same things, like in Swiss German we use "Velo" for "bike" and in "Standard German" you use "Fahrrad". And there's many instances like that with Austrian German, as well. I sincerely wouldn't want to learn German as a foreigner, unless you live somewhere in Hamburg/Hannover where they still speak High German, I feel like every other dialect is super hard to understand if you're not a native.

I double-check with my native friends before I use a word if I'm unsure about it but she obviously didn't have that option. But honestly, how they would ever think "Dreingabe" should be used instead of "Rabatt" when most natives don't know what the word means is a mystery to me.

Man I stan and Biased for Seulgi for her dancing and singing specially in Naughty. But seeing her liking really Renaissance art. That is my style of person. You can literally talk to like history and culture to her and she seems that type of person from what I see.

I freaking love it! It's so funny! Wendy's reactions are never disappointing and Seulgi is always funny no matter what. They're a perfect pair for this kind of thing, they don't have to do much to be funny and entertaining.
I feel so sorry for wendy, that they didn't understand her, but as a German I can just say: well... The word "dreingabe" is not a word, that we use in Germany... (or Austria) i am sorry, but Wendy: don't worry! Your pronouncing was very good! (well... Exept of the last word, but as I said: i didn't even know what it means and i am German😅) 🌹
"Dreingabe" is actually a word but I have no idea why it was in the materials she used to learn since nobody (except for maybe some older people) use this word, we just use "Rabatt" for it. But as someone who learns Korean and Chinese, I can confidently tell you that there are expressions in my books that make no sense to/are not used by native speakers. I double-check with my native friends before I use a word if I'm unsure about it but she obviously didn't have that option. But honestly, how they would ever think "Dreingabe" should be used instead of "Rabatt" when most natives don't know what the word means is a mystery to me.

I'm not even a Red Velvet fan but I really like these episodes with Wendy & Seulgi. I love that Seulgi is obsessed with Before Sunrise, she also mentioned it in Secret Unnie with Sunmi. Lol @ Wendy being clearly uncomfortable at 1:09:26 while Seulgi is romantically taken away at that moment.

Ugh, when they said that Wendy and Seulgi weren't old enough to appreciate art. Like, what the fuck? Art is appreciated no matter how old you are, if you find beauty in it and appreciate the effort of the artist. Art does not have a fucking minimum age limit, are you kidding me? I hate that, it's so condescending even if they didn't mean it to sound that way, it made my toes curl in anger.
