I have an issue coloring in some of the Korean books. I have Girls WIth Flowers volume 2 and I have an issue coloring on that paper as well. I managed to color on it, and just completed a page in it recently, but I did struggle because the paper is smooth. It doesn't have a lot of tooth and I'm a colorist who uses a ton of layers, especially on skin, makes it hard to layer. I just got the new Lana Green book and I am working on a page currently. It seems to have the same type of paper as Girls With Flowers, so I am struggling with the skin. I also seem to start pages and then lose interest or don't get back to them. 😆I do this in Hanna Karlzon's book, and sometimes Maria Trolle's. I think it is the flowers and leaves. I don't like coloring repetitive things, so after a few leaves I am ready to be done. 😄But once those pages are done they always looks amazing. I have several WIPS in both their books that i need to get back to. LOL One artist I seem to finish all the time is Christine Karron. I just love her images and I actually love the paper in her books. It is smooth, but I find the Polys and Luminacne work well on it, and I seem to be able to layer a lot too. Might just be my technique, but I love that paper. Yes, Kerby's new book sneak peeks look amazing! I can't wait for it to come out. Thanks for sharing all your plans!
