So much good stuff at this Costco! I did a round two, to show some of the other interesting whiskies at the Mountain View Costco. Let me know what you think.
The Ka Va Lan Single Malt is definitely worth a try. I agree it's a mixed drink. Anything fruity and sweet tends to work well with this whisky. It's really smooth after taste and does not make me dizzy or red in the face which is a plus.
V Q , Thank you for the comment, I have been toying with the idea of getting the Ka Va multiple times as I see it, it seems to be taking the whiskey market by storm. I will have to check it out next time I see it. Have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
I have the Ardnamurchan AD/03.21:02 and really like it. I wish I could find some of this at a local Costco here in San Diego County. I would definitely buy more at that price.
Jeff the Patio Chef, thanks for the comment, Im really glad i ended up finding the Ardnamurchan AD/7.21:04 , it seems sorta elusive to find, also I wonder how much difference there is between the different release dates. Also how would you describe the flavor on yours, just for reference? Have a great weekend , Cheers!
@@Whiskey1t’s a combination of 50% peated, 50% unpeated; in 65% /35% ex-bourbon / Sherry cask maturation. I find a nice blend of peat, sea salt brine and slight citrus flavors.
@@Whiskey1 Sorry for the late reply. I only have 1 bottle (The AD/ 03.21:02) so I can really answer this. This is a hard to find Scotch but if I could find it at that price I'd buy 1 or maybe 2 more.
