I’ve seen from several pro installers to use electrical tape instead of zip ties. I am about to do a Garmin install on my boat and plan to change all the zip ties out. Great install very straight forward and enjoyed watching! Ready to see you slay 2021 season!
True! For quick install I use zip ties. New boat comes in and I have to remove this again and put on new boat 👍
I figured the zip tie police would show up. LoL
For those that dont know. These pros work there butts off. This is there living to feed and support there families. Its a job to them . They constantly throw baits very seldom taking breaks. I sit with guys in the boat as a marshal or judge. So nothing is handed to them . Some are just barely making it with all the entry fees they have. Some leave there Familys behind for months. They don't get sponsors up front. It takes wins and dedication.

Can’t wait to get back to watching ya on the elites! Quick question about the active target though. Do you need the active target box to run the transducer or is the box just allowing you to run all the different modes? I’ve been looking into getting active target but didn’t know how necessary the box was!
I’ll be honest there is so much crap on that trolling motor. I couldn’t use that. I guess it’s the new generation of fishing. Hopefully it’s worth it,

Pretty sure I saw you flying down the hiwassee last week...I was in a center console boat I think we were the only two fishing that river that day pretty cold that day still was catching them tho

What size wire should I run for power for the active target. This seems to be hard to find online?
Hey bro first I watch all your videos , and even the ones when you fished the opens to get me fired up before a tournament lol but my question is , is this compatible with gen twos? I think I already know the answer but just want to make sure .
I use the totally round fuel line zip ties, that won't pinch the lines. Question. To which power supply did you run to. Accessory switch or straight to battery? I wouldn't want anything else tied into same power supply.

I will say the knobs are not a good idea. Garmins idea is much better. Knobs will vibrate loose
