D greatest Yoruba language spoken ever created in Yoruba land , infact I've being watching this great man since my youth from early 70"s... And his best album . so far is this very one he used in the beginning of this program, oriki olodumare.. I memorized the whole album , Agbaletu Jeki n so fun e, kosi eniti o gbo Yoruba to Baba yi up till now . Even most yoruba program presenters always used some clips from his album oriki olodumare to kick start most of their programs e.g olalomi amole, Segun Durodola, etc. Like d appellation of professor Peller that says " D last of the greatest magician '. Such goes for this great man May the Almighty Allah continue to protect & guide him... Eemo (misery) gbaaaa ni Baba yi... He speaks d deepest Yoruba language fluently more than Baba Supo Koseemani . Awon akewi ode isinyi, ole , ole ni gbogbo won. Won gba riba ju olopa lo.
Thanks God for Chief Olarewaju Adepoju for the gift of great talent that God has bestowed on him. May God continue to strengthen him and give him long life
The gift God bestowed on person is special gifts . Olanrewaju Adepoju in ewi poetry is like Baba sala in comedy , Yusuf Olatunji in sakara and Haruna Isola in apala . Nobody can replace them .
Baba Adepoju is irreplaceable as The King of Yoruba Metaphysical poetry (Ewi) even though we've been working hard for a few years now to get one of us his sons Adejare (Qasim) Olanrewaju Adepoju to step in his shoes. Baba is a BIG shoe to step in. Adejare's many Ewi tracks are also here on You Tube. Here is one of Adejare's many tracks. ruclips.net/video/fNAD5BwbAdA/видео.html
I remember the Wedding Record he made that was played at my Aunt’s Reception in the mid to late 70s.. I’m still searching for it.. the intro went something like this: “Ireee loooni ori mi afire.. e wa wo toko-taya bi won se nfe lele-lele”.. This Great man had the diction and nuances that others before and after him
Baba is the best Akewi, but I noticed that he avoided Baba Olatunbosun Oladapo, he only mentioned his name once. I learned that they’re not in good terms because he didn’t mention him among the great.
In as much as we are pleased to see Baba being kept in the limelight, it is wrong for you to present this material that our Baba gave to Radio NGR in 2014 as if it were your own, not withstanding the fact that you were an employee of RN then.
If Radio Nigeria or any of its former or present staff feels they own the copyright or intellectual right to this interview or any of my other interviews even yet uploaded as you have suggested, you may give them an eye opener to do the needful. You should approach the courts with evidences. Thanks.
So how do yu describe an hero. He is an hero to the core. How can yu described him as fanatics. He was once an Aare alasa of ibadan land. He became and is Islamic adherent and I think that is personal to him. He used his poetry to advice, admonish. He was very critical of him of government. To describe someone who has never bn in the classroom and became a self taught wrote several book is not an hero is someone deluded
May Allah grant Baba Jannah Fridaous

A religious fanatic has no respect in the annal of our history
you have done well but he is a religion fanatics,,tell him what is going on between arab and jews.
Alaska Bola ige Ote
Being fanatical was his serious shortcoming. He was against Yoruba culture in several ramifications. He would have been a hero, but .........
