they do but they arent ideal for a mass power outage. the reason that it isnt ideal for the backup generators is because due to T1 and T2 without power, the generators wouldn't cope with powering both terminals. it would strain the generators. thats why some flights have been delayed and cancelled. consult your airlines if your planning to fly from T1 and T2 in upcoming days just incase they have any information.

The reason the back up generators did not work is because sum one did not fill the tank with diesel we were luck and did make it to are holiday in Jamaica
were involved at the time but we were lucky and did make it away to Jamaica
