You are a good shot! I bet I could come up with lots of excuses why I couldn't shoot well with the "wrong" arrow for a certain bow. I have noticed wood arrows are more forgiving than carbon.
I have 4 hunting Bows, 2 Recurves and 2 Longbows and all of them require being shot differently. I've been working on(and still am lol) being able to pick up any one of them and shoot them proficiently @15 yards. I've been working on it for a couple of years (I've been shooting 3 years total) and I'm just about there now! That was some nice shootn!!! I love it!!👊💥👊
Thanks. It's so much fun shooting these bows and none of us are ever gonna be perfect with them no matter how much we shoot. That's what keeps us coming back.
Thanks for the reminder, James!! I got pretty frustrated this afternoon when I was shooting my Bodnik Hunter Stick for the first time in 6 months or more. I shot like crap lol So today I decided to take to the grip with a file and reshape the grip(belly side). And it paid off! Phew! I really enjoyed seeing you shoot those Bows, changing form one to another and staying on point! I think it put the wind into my sails that I needed! Thanks for sharing, Buddy!!🙏
Thank you for an awesome video. I want to build a set of Douglas fir arrows for my Bear Montana as soon as I can. I think I will have to switch broadheads because I shoot Simmons Great Whites and with the adaptors my point weight would be 300 grains. Drawing 29.5 inches on a 55 @ 28 I would need 85/90 or 90/95 just guessing.
Pretty cool James, I have always thought that wood was more versicle than most think. You did awesome at shooting different style and types of bows, a lot of people struggle doing that as well. It's like throwing rocks, very seldom are they remotely close in weight or shape but a good rock thrower still gets the job done
Nothing better than one arrow for several bows !!
It sure keeps it simple.

I am well capable of some mighty fine misses also! I love wood arrows they are so much quieter off the bow!

You might be surprised. Let me know what you end up with.
Good shooting swamp man the monarch is a super bow
That monarch has some serious power. I'm gonna take it on a hunt here in a couple weeks.

Thanks Mr. Jerry
Great video! and great shooting.
Appreciate it!
I can’t believe you get 70/75s to shoot out of them bows. nice work.
That's what several experts have said.
Bandage for sure. Thank you for sharing
