Looking forward to how this goes. I've done something similar with built-up pieces instead of a milled plate. Are you going to make your drawing available? BTW, I've seen people put the chamfer on the holes before they thread them. I think that might be easier but I did like you did.

Here is a link to my drawing: instagram.com/p/CMqfWDTrvCj/?. I think I made a mistake with my napkin math, so I will likely need to redrill the top roller mounting holes
I did try both chamfer before and after, I found if I did before then sometimes it wouldn't have been enough and I needed to go back and finish it off. I'll probably still try both ways to see what I like

@@dtbre Thank you for posting your drawing. Also, good to hear you tried it both ways. Keep the videos coming.

Very Good! ....waiting for update. Will you use HGR rails? I saw one machine with SBR shafts, maybe will be my option as well :)

Yes, using HGR rails. HGR rails are far far better than SBR rails to my knowledge, if you have the option they will be better. The SBR rail machine i saw had to double carriage each joint and that decreases travel, but if you already have them on hand then its better than nothing :)

I have not finished the CNC yet, I have been procrastinating on the next video and working on other projects :). You could say I'm always late ;)
