Yep! I wanted to cut my own cord but when it came to it and they told me it was time to do it I just went "I can't be bothered, you do it" to my husband and fell asleep 😂
I'm so happy for the two of you. Truly, it's been amazing watching you guys get engaged, but a house, buy a car, have Oakley, and now have babygirl! You guys will always be my favorite RUclips couple ❤

im 18 weeks pregnant and I'm absolutely terrified to give birth so im glad caitlyn shared her story!!
I would highly recommend a homebirth. Mine was amazing. Has a midwife but it was undisturbed, no cervical exams, caught her myself. Loved it
I’m 18 weeks too 🎉 but this is my 3rd baby I’m terrified for birth as I have to have another c section but having a baby home now comes so naturally. Try not to worry too much, educate yourself and go with the flow I’m sure you will smash it! It’s so natural to feel anxious and scared when bringing life into the world ❤

I think it is so special that you got to cut the cord ♥️ I have never heard of the mom (birthing mom) doing that. Congratulations 🩷
Pitocin contractions are ROUGH! With my first childbirth they started me on Pitocin at 6am and my baby was born at 8:05 am. The doctor almost missed the birth because it happened so fast. It took me a long time to recover from that. Caitlin is a trooper!
I love that you guys share your experiences and support each other through everything! Such amazing experiences with both children already! Would love to find a relationship with the communication and support you guys have. Keep spreading the love and experiences!

funny story : when I was in hospital after giving birth NO-ONE told me about the black poo babies do! I had no idea. however when changing my little boy as I was cleaning him i wasn't paying attention to the cotton balls and the soiled nappy and put my hand right into the black poo 😢😂😂
Awe bless! As a retired L&D nurse, and mom to a household of children, pitocin is awful! It is SO much more painful for most moms.❤ And they are right! Epidural will “travel” relief wise if you turn on the unaffected side. I had that experience with my last of 6. Congratulations ladies!!

You had such a similar experience to me! I was also sick after it all happened and it was the most odd experience. I felt sick, I was sick but then I didn’t have any of the weird gagging. It was instant relief! Also… epidural best decision ever. So glad she’s here safe and sound though. Congratulations! 🎊

When my twin sister and I was born I was born 4 mins before her, and my twin sister was literally caught at the end of the table. Love my mum and my twin sister. 💕

Yo my son’s head launched himself out of my vag as well. The tearing was insane. I asked my doc how many stitches and they said just one big stitch. It’s insane. Birth is insane.
Pitocin contractions are a killer. I couldn’t even speak and I was sobbing I was not in the right mindset XD so I got the epidural. The contractions were back to back to back.

22:40 Lyla’s hand almost made me cry🥺🥺🥺
I was born screaming and pooping and kicking stuff down and the nurses was giving my poor mom an heart attack because she heard crashing and then heard the nurses laughing because they were so happy about how much I "pinked" up.
Caitlin is literally me, i HATE being sick.
My labour didn't even last 6 hours 😅 it was 4. I got the Gel at 11, contractions, started at 12 and I started pushing at 2. She was born at 3.57

I am 15weeks pregnant with my first baby and it’s a girl and I had a bug last weekend and couldn’t stop throwing up. Ended up going to the emergency room
2 out of 4 of my labours, my waters burst, they did spray across the room and coved both midwives each time
