The Mckissacks are distant relatives my grandmother Winnie Mckissack married Matthew Franklin I dont know them but I am proud of them and all they accomplished.
Hi! i am also related to the McKissacks! I know this is very late but i wanted to share this with you!
Awesome family legacy!!!
Getting close to 200 years I am very very impressed.
So very American! You do what you can given the opportunity! No whining, thru tears and fears but given the opportunity!
@Hello How are you doing?
This is very inspiring I hope more young people see this and it helps them get their act together
Awesome!!! You made my Day!!!
I was today-years-old when I found out that McKissick & McKissick even existed and I am touched by this story because a lot of my background and experiences connect with hers. Wow. I am inspired even more!!!!❤
Love this!
They ALL need to have more children. I'm mad they don't want the company. I hope she telling them, ain't no senior position jobs out here elsewhere. If the family has a business this substantial they need to take it! This industry is too important.
Hey so I'm actually related to the McKissacks, Cheryl and Deryl are my aunts! My brother is actually studying architecture in college right now so architecture still runs in our family!
@@dsmithprod Hello! i am also a second cousin to Cheryl and Deryl! They are my dads cousins.
Very inspiring
It's not what you know, it's who you know
Wow! That was so inspiring that's what I truly admire about black people of previous generations they didn't let their circumstances stop them from persevering I can only hope that we as black millennials get our stuff together and create a real legacy of our own but we have to reject black dysfunction immediately or we will never get anywhere as a generation.
I just started working in construction all cleaninf up my entire life. This has inspired me so much.
Wow. I'm all ears.
Come on kids follow in your family’s footsteps don’t let this legacy get away from the family.
Damn good story
Wow !!!! Amazing and an inspiration to someone who wants to be a female Construction Project Manager !!! 😊
Wow wish I had that skill just ❤️
💙💚💙 this. 🥰
I'm in construction and i look up to her
I’m claiming this in the name of God🙌🏾
Black girl magic still in effect
Wow! but I wonder what about her other sisters? Are they involved.
I just had my 8a status revoked because I can’t prove that I’ve ever been discriminated against. Things have changed since 4 years ago.
they should have her on the View
But I noticed her staff barely had any African Americans.
I'm gonna have to marry in and take over for her since the girls aren't interested.
Michelle looking tasty😍
