  • In the HOKA ONE ONE Top Trails Series, RunnerSpace and HOKA introduce some of the most interesting places our Humans of HOKA run in the U.S. This stop is in Columbus, Ohio. We meet Jeff Henderson and Ryan Moran, two avid trail runners who created, landscaped and excavated their own trails. Then, hosts Matt and Ian meet up with HOKA Account Executive John Meadows to talk downtown Columbus. Later, Jeff and Ryan show us one of their favorite breweries and give insight into the Columbus running community.

I am really enjoying your trail series! You should consider visiting Gainesville FL, home of UF, for our vibrant trail running scene with weekly trail runs and a great running community!

I remember running a 10k at Alum Creek in the early 80s. Nice to see there are trails being built. Other great trails nearby are Clear Creek Metro Park that is a part of the Columbus metro parks. Easy to get 10+ miles with a couple 300 ft climbs. The Logan trail in Tar Hollow state park is a 17.6 mile trail maintained by the Columbus area Boy Scouts.

If you go back, there's a snowmobile/multi-use trail on the opposite side of the lake. It's only about 6 miles but it sure is fun.
