Its not bad, just too niche. You need to be hyper mobile or constantly pressuring almost done gens so they get done in your face. Typically there is a better perk option is available for most circumstances, but if you run up on someone right as they finish the gen it can be brutal. Even if you triggered the blocking around the killer it would be very meh. Since you have no control over when it pops so you could be out in the open where it maybe gets you a free hit, or not in chase where it does nothing. Even if you trap a survivor in a tile it only gets you 1 hit each time a gen pops, super low value. Unless you have an insta-down. A potentially better buff, is to just have it block ALL vault location for the duration making it global, or just double the duration. If you double the duration it creates a free dead zone for 60 seconds, if it blocks all vault locations you can make plays around it even if the gen pops cross map or you aren't in chase yet. As is the small area, short duration, and lack of control makes it often give no value since it requires you to lose a gen to try to get value out of it. Another neat change could be making the effect proc when you kick a gen. Make it only proc once every 80 seconds and bam its a lot more scarry and the effect is in your control even pairs well with a lot of other interesting perks. Paired with no where to hide it becomes a deathtrap. (Edit: Will note pretty good on Dredge as long as you have good locker locations (Not my favorite tho). Not bad on Demo since you can pop on over and your anti loop is pretty mean. Actually pretty good on twins since you can leave your body on a gen and run off as victor if they pop it in your face you can punish them quite hard. Then any one hit down high mobility killer ie oni, hillbilly, (Works on cannibal if he is there but otherwise not great) then one down stealth killers like shape or Ghostface. Since they can be stalking nearby as the gen is completed and then come in for the kill. Then finally its kinda fun on ranged killers ie artist trickster and technically clown since you can close of routes its much easier to predict how they will run but Bitter Murmur just does it better. (Also get some value out of trapper but that's more of a meme))
@@Pillar_of_Salt Nah, I think Blood Favor should just also block vaults. XD Making Claustrophobia work that way would require it to become a hex, and it would just be a worse version of Blood Favor at that point. You would only run it if you wanted to double up. Just making the aeo bigger or making it last longer would be good enough.
Mad Grit is one of my favorite perks! I don't get value of it all the time, but when I do, it's great! I can get crazy value in the Endgame, when everyone goes to bodyblock. I can get another kill or two just from that!
I find the Leafy mash works best when survivors are surrounding you OR you have the chance to hit multiple survivors in a short amount of time. It rewards you by removing the red stain and lets you choose to either engage people with a small advantage, par it with other add ons for a massive advantage, or just wanna put pressure on.
Only thing I've heard Leafy Mash is good for is with Apex Muffler so that the chainsaw is silent for a few moments if you want to go for a cheeky slug. Which is actually *quite* good on indoor maps if you have info to go with it (and are good at curving).
mad grit is amazing. my "basic build for every killer" is mad grit, agitation, awakened awareness, and stbfl. I don't use iron grap because people notice the red bar (but generally then don't notice the white bar stopping with mad grit). the best way to play it is to put 1 non-obsessions survivor on death hook, and then wait for the body blocks. it is amazing how often this works.
Leafy Mash is great (or at least funny) with Starstruck - it won't apply to survivors at first while you have no terror radius then suddenly kicks in and exposes them, potentially while they're trying to bodyblock.
If Claustrophobia blocked every window on the map briefly it wouldn’t be OP. It’s such a mundane effect for something that only happens when a gen pops.
You can use the leafy add on with the add on that makes his chain saw silent when you out of his terror radius and use monitor and infectious fright Down with chainsaw then use infectious to find people in a large radius due to monitor increasing your terror radius since you were in chase when they were downed, then use the undetctable to sneak up on the unsuspecting survivor with a sprint man with a chain saw
Hello Tofu, I hope you're doing well! Edit: that add-on should give you undetectable for a few seconds (6-10) when you break a pallet with your chainsaw, instead of when you down a survivor with it.
Mad grit is funny but its the kind of perk that gets you absolutely no value 90% of the time and is easily countered, but its hilarious when it works well
Yes. There's no recovery on whiffed hits. When hitting a Survivor whilst carrying another, their Wiggle timer is paused for 4 seconds. Timer resets for every hit.
@@thaoriginal Didn't want to reveal he had Mad Grit, so he avoided swinging unnecessarily. If the Survivors become aware that you have Mad Grit, they will stop taking hits.
Gotta say Mad Grit is always a good time. Just pair it with agitation. (Of course committing all the way is a great meme add starstruck and awakened awareness ect ect) I prefer it on killers that are slow, or less threatening and find it harder to get quick downs. Since their allies will feel a lot more comfortable coming over and body blocking at the end of a chase. or on setup killers where I want to hook in my nest/web. Trapper and hag are obvious examples. Since paired with agitation and iron grasp you can carry people half a mile their teammates will think they can get you to drop them soon only to some into your deathtrap willingly. Tbh in those cases better to not have starstruck since it will scare them off.
Oh you think mad grit is good i run this build on Ghostface with non stop 4K's. This is with no add ons or offerings and i dont stalk i use ghostface as a radar to detect them when they try to reveal me then i use night shroud in mid chase to hide my red stain. This build is super OP Mad Grit Agitation Iron grasp And the last perk is variable If they have flashlights lightborn No flash lights but you want to be able to apply pressure outside of carrying survivors you can run save the best for last But my favorite is awakened awareness You can zoom across the map and find survivors its most fun when the survivors are altruistic
@@ToonLinkGotT i mean yeah but honestly when they bring flashlights they try harder to get the save the second they find out you have franklins they dont try as hard
I feel like Claustrophobia could be usable if it was changed to blocking around the killer instead of blocking around the gen.
it may be alright with teleporting killers like Onryo, Dredge, Hag, maybe Knight. But yeah I think this perk is not great

Should just be Blood Favour but for vaults.
@@Pillar_of_Salt Nah, I think Blood Favor should just also block vaults. XD

Claustrophobia is pretty strong for most gens on Haddonfield and for indoor maps. Having it pop at the right time with a one hit down is brutal.

Altruism kills harder with Mad Grit. 😁
had crazy claustrophobia value at 12:01 and didnt even notice 💔

important: many people in the end game chat come for me saying that I was hacking because people forget about the existence of this perk

Wow, if ever there were 2 complete polar opposite games side by side then this video is the perfect example!
Franklins demise- dissolution- cope de grace- agitation, offering…putrid oak- full stop!!!

12:01 they couldn't vault because of claustrophobia, that's what had happened lol.
Auto captions turns poggers into huggers and it makes me smile.
Oh YES billy content. FINALLY for years I was deprived of it. NOW I GET SALVATION !!!!!!!!
12:00 tofu didnt even realize he was getting cruel limits value
What if whenever claustrophobia activated, all windows it previously blocked got blocked for half the time? Would that be too op for it?
