1:24 that is what Ive been saying the whole time, AGS has hardon for zooming in instead of showing gameplay. Just go thru all the trailers by amazon and check how much time you actually see the game and how much you see some random cutscenes and zoomed character that are doing single ability...It pains me to say this because I love Lost Ark, but the zoomed in shots of classes AGS does make Lost Ark look like trailer for some mobile game.
For real! All the Korean trailers from years back look so much better. This is an ACTION ISOMETRIC game, so why does AGS insist on zooming in and showing off the "cutscenes"? That's not what people are playing this game for. Also this trailer is actually improved compared to their first trailer drowned out by some rap music
Just telling you guys, People who were trying very early since it came out did not have any guide, they didnt know what to do, but they DID SOLVE the gimmicks and cleared it. YOU GUYS CAN ALSO DO IT. I've been playing this game in Russia for the past month and I can't express enough how amazing it is. I'm pretty certain that RU is not even close to KR patch wise and I'm still blown away by everything I'm playing. There's so much to do, so many areas to explore, sailing the seas and traveling to all the different islands, which BTW some are cool af. Straight up went onto an island with a night club playing EDM music and danced and served drinks lmao. Visited another island on a military base and went and did a pretty sick little mini-dungeon which I'm not going to spoil but it had some enjoyable features that left me in awe the whole time. I feel like a shill when I talk about this game lmao. The graphics are absolutely stunning btw, animations and abilities are beautifully done and the combat is probably the best combat in any game I've ever played. It is literal perfection and I know how hyperbole that sounds but please trust. This game is different and its unique. Anything you hear about it being p2w is greatly exaggerated and or not being entirely up front about how not worth it is to use the pay2convenience aspects. Unless you are racing for world firsts or in that 0.0001% of hardcore gamers who whale, they have absolutely no affect on you. PvP is completely equalized outside of class balance which means any "p2w" aspects also have no effect in PvP, which btw is usually where the biggest problem in any pvp game lies. Leveling doesn't actually take that long at all and neither does gearing, if you're really trying to save yourself 100 hours or so to bypass content then maybe this game isn't for you in the first place. Because at the end of the day it is an MMO.
thought sailing the sea was cool at first but after a few weeks its just a time wasting mechanic especially it requires you to sail across islands/continents just to talk to npc. The maps and level designs are definitely cool but again, after a few weeks i realized many areas were not really unique and very forgettable. Raids and pvp in this game is actually fun for me but the path to get into the end game is worse than hell with infinite grind treadmill and daily felt like a job so i quit. I doubt the amazon version will get you the "oils" and all the support that RU server had so you can sprint through upgrade process till 1400 or higher so it's gonna take A WHILE to gear up. It is just me tho since i don't want a game that makes me feel like a job (its a korean mmo after all).
@@tuanang7889 Regarding your issue with sailing, I hope you know there's an NPC that will sail you to whichever continent you want if you've already visited it. It makes getting to islands much easier, still requires a little time but at least you can auto-path at Sea. Idk, to me the dailies don't even seem that bad and I can do them in like 30 minutes and move onto whatever else I need to do. As far as upgrading goes, I would hope that it wouldn't actually be as fast as it is in RU because if it was then people will get burnt out and quit quickly but upgrading gear is still not hard or an issue tbh.
@VaderxG the combat of this game is not bad but the alt grind was what drove me insane and really repetitive plus most of the the quests are "move to other islands/continents to talk to these npc" or kill X collect Y or so. I mean if people can get thru that (not me) the late game pve raids and group pvp is quite enjoyable. I can see why people overhype this game since the mmo market is kinda dry nowadays.
@@tuanang7889 to me it really sounds like maybe MMOs aren’t for you. Because your issues with this game are a problem with literally every single MMO. I’m pretty sure they specifically made quests short to waste as little time of yours as possible and get you to start on end game content. Like seriously their kill quests can be completed in 30 seconds, in other games kill quests take 10-20x longer. And the alt grind isn’t even that bad either.. lmao. Either find 1 class you enjoy and make multiple of it so it never feels like you’re playing something else or play multiple classes. This game isn’t overhyped, it just isn’t for you. If you want a game with meaningful quest system go play RuneScape
The devs don't realize that this type of game design can potentially kill off their player base, people just want to have fun and this seems like it's more work than a full-time job (and you don't get paid either).

@@razatiger22 I'm an ffxiv player, and a lost ark player. I raid in both games(on RU for Lost Ark, both are hard in different ways. Both are amazing games.
The funny thing is, this is the normal version of the raid. There’s a hard mode(heroic) at the moment and in the future, the hell mode(mythic) will be released. Moreover, the devs ASSURED that in the future, legion general Kamen raid, a raid that will be released in a few months, will be “despairingly” harder than this fight. So yeah, this IS the easy one.
and that's a good thing/good game design? Most players just want to play and have fun and see progression overtime rather than 30-40 minute fights with no downtime that have constant instant wipes with no recovery/revive mechanic (i.e., that's a recipe for toxicity and blaming people who you raid with). You can have a skill-based game, but don't make it as hard as cognitively possible just to say you can. This type of game design is the definition of spending way too much time and getting absolutely nothing tangible out of it (i.e., do something productive in the real world or atleast get paid to do it).
@@Zamblinger you realize this is the end game content right? Are you seriously expecting an end game content, which is equivalent to Heroic-mythic raiding in WoW, to be really easy and accessible to everyone? If so, why would anyone bother playing it if it’s that easy and accessible? And you do understand that this isn’t the only raid, but the very last one with the highest difficulty at the moment, right? Meaning there’s countless raids and dungeons that are easier than this and is still enjoyable? Also, I don’t know what you mean by saying “Most players” but if games are made based on your idea, there shouldn’t be any challenge modes, difficulty difference, achievements, and any sort of hard content that rewards your completion. Because you absolutely don’t get anything tangible from it, and people should do something more productive in their lives. Yeah, good point.
@@JK_Snacks I've raided in end-game before, I understand the reason for it. The whole point I'm making is even I'm turned off from doing it or even trying it after seeing it and I'm not a casual player or raider. It seems like a recipe for toxicity and constant negativity because one person may mess up once in a 30 minute fight wiping the whole raid (not to mention how many constant wipes there are in the fight). The other point, most players as in the players that make up the average including those who are above or lower aren't going to enjoy it or attempt it (I never once said they should appeal to casuals or most of their players). I just don't think it's good game design in the end. If you find this fun, and think it's worth your time dealing with the likely drama and negativity going to be in it, then that's on you. I would think the people who enjoy it should probably seek a psychological evaluation because I don't think they would be all there.
@@Zamblinger It is fine if you personally don't enjoy nor want to pursue this kind of content, it's so end game that it isn't really forced upon you neither does it gate you from other content by not clearing the raid. But you can simply not do the raid if that's the case, even tho I do not disagree with some points you have stated, like the enviroment being toxic, I don't think having the content is a bad thing for the game. Alot of players value Raiding/ PVP at is a deal breaker if they're even gonna try the game or not, this is also a huge personal achievement for the people wanting to attempt it down the line due to difficulty. Even if it is overwhelming, it needs to be put in perspective to other content, you will have practiced mechanics, communication and reading patterns in raids for 100's of hours by the time you get to this Raid for example.

When the raid was first released, its considered to be the hardest raid at the time. Now the raid is nerfed couple of times so its doable with randos kinda.
Put yourself into the bosses shoes for a sec; you can spawn blackholes from nothing, call down meteors, shoot lazers, command cubical monsters, reign over alternate dimensions. One day a group adventurers come into your lair and pick a fight with you. You keep attacking they keep attacking back and forth. 5 minutes pass feeling good they will regret coming in. 10 minutes pass you think they will give up despite their efforts of reducing your hp. 15 minutes pass youre starting to get worried they seem like maniacs that wont give up. 20 minutes pass you havent noticed until now but they have bright costumes. 5 more minutes pass and youre terrified, shaking with horror just now realising that you have been slapped for the last 25 minutes non stop by a group of bright costumed furries with sticks. The horror.
Ok, I think I understand this...You put the triangle above the gooblet, then take the circle to the opposite side of the arena within 0.5 seconds or you wipe the raid. Run left or wipe the raid. Hit the big square but in a very specific order or you get silenced and wipe the raid. Stand perfectly still or wipe the raid. Have all 560 buffs or wipe the raid....Something about lines, or you wipe the raid....Oh and there's a meteor that wipes the raid.
Couple decades ago some dudes sat down with dice and paper to play some war games. Later the transistor was discovered, and now we have this. How did RPGs escalate this radically
You dps a lot and dodge a lot of stuff at the same time. Its a 25 min fight. This video only showing half the fight and raid wipe mechanics. You can fuck up and die by yourself while dpsing and dodging stuff
@@Maleficarum999 Unfortunately, the Hard Mode Abrelshud also requires good DPS with all skilled players. But yea, that is the only raid that gives you every challenge you have met so far in games.
This boss on hard mode (the hardest mode) was defeated after 3days it was released. So, this boss is not as hard as it sounds. Saints makes it sound harder than it actually is. Yes you are going to wipe many times, but this isn't as hard as Mythic raid racing in WOW. I would say this game is mechanically more demanding for each players though since it is click-to-move and requires faster reaction than mythic raiding in WOW. The real problem for WOW players is that raid bosses attack random targets just like Monster Hunter boss encounter. the mechanics are repetitive and scripted so you will get used to it, but the random aggros you never get used to or see it coming.
in my opinion ,8 man vs 20 man is the biggest different when you try to complete hard boss fight ,less people makes communication easier doesnt mean difficulty is not there
@@ikc44412 Exactly that. The biggest difference isn't one game being more or less difficult than the other, but group sizes. In both games screwing up can wipe the raid, but the chance nobody screws up for a full fight is simply much higher in Lost Ark than it would be in WoW. I don't particularly feel like Lost Ark's mechanics are any more difficult than WoWs, but there are more of them and the ones that are there feel more intense. The saving grace is that Lost Ark is more scripted than WoW and feels like a dance not unlike some FFXIV fights outside of the bosses' basic attack patterns that happen throughout the fight. This makes it quite straight forward to tell what you have to do instead of your brain being overloaded with having to deal with too many mechanics at the same time.
Note that Saint has never asserts his own opinion on the difficulty of the boss fight. He only made a video that explains the major mechanics of the two bossfights and leaves the answer to the question up to interpretation. People are interpreting it to be harder than it actually is, not that he's making it sound harder. I think being able to compress the explanation of the boss fight to an 11 minute video and making it this concise is pretty impressive.
When the final raid boss of the first installment is already channeling the universe to destroy the raid team and still fails. How can you increase boss power for future bosses xD
Honestly not even being a pessimist but the only thing I could think of while watching that raid video was "is doing this raid even fun?" like at what point does a game stop being fighting a boss monster with friends for loot and turn into just muscle memory and memorizing a long sequence of actions like being a musician in an orchestra.
@@alex__zander yeah the video is just showing the 'hardest challenge raid' currently available. It's not showing a typical raid or boss fight. The average boss in tier 1 (which is what the west will be getting) is super simple easy compared to this. The game ramps up in difficulty over time and even in korea very few % of the population has completed the raid shown in the video.
@@alex__zander Its fun if the raid remains reaction and execution based because of randomized and irregular mechanics. It becomes boring when a boss fight becomes a dance routine between checkpoints.
its honestly not that difficult when you get the hang of it. The way I like to describe lost ark raids is like calculus: at the beginning, calculus looks impossible, but the more you use it and the more you do probems with it the easier it gets to the point where it becomes a second nature. Nobody clears a lost ark endgame raid on their firstt try. It's simply put, impossible. But the game is structured in a way that, every time you get wiped, you at least learn a lesson or mechanic about the raid so you won't make the same mistake next time. And the more you get wiped, the more those lessons get ingrained in your head. Yes, this boss has 31 mechanics. But once you''ve memorized the patterns, it becomes extremely consistent. I've seen endgame korean streamers do raids blindfolded. Despite how many raid-ending mechanics bosses have, the game is very fair. There's no rng mechanics, no bullshit deaths. If you have the skill and knowledge, you'll be able to clear every single raid every single time regardless of gear.
25 minute fight, 1 shot raid wipes on every phase. ffxiv commenter: ultimates are 10x harder than this. wow commenter: if you practice and know the entire fight... it'll be easy. easy fights are something you don't need to wipe on 50 times to clear. easy fights are something you can do with randoms. plenty of raid and dungeon bosses in both games to show you that randoms have a hard time with 2 or 3 mechanics. everyone here is acting like the only people who are going to play are eidetic memory professional gamers. if youve thought other people(or yourself) were bad in the last week or so of playing whatever game you partake in, then just assume life isn't going to follow your oversimplified 'just know the shit' routine.
The one who has enough endurance (and a static to run it with) will be the one to receive the rewards that mark a top 5% player. That’s how it is in most MMOs tbh.
Its not thaaaaaat highly difficult. You are flabbergasted because your eyes arent used to the visuals and the guys spitting every little mechanic possible and its overwhelming.
Honestly the video just tried to make it sound more complicated than it actually is by mentioning every single mechanics. A proper guide is a better representation of the difficulty.
This and FFXIV are going to be my 2 games of choice for the future, when i get bis in FFXIV or just tired i play lost arc and stabby stab some whatever the main villiens are in lost ark
The entire time watching this all I could think was "Wow, that's a lot of opportunities for one person to slip up for one second, or get a single second of lag and completely wipe it for everyone." That level of strictness sounds like a recipe for disaster on paper.
@@marcosdheleno This. Any moron with 2 braincells can make a fight supper upper dupper hard by just throwing in a ton of random & counter-intuitive mechanics while dragging the fight to 2 hours. If it's not fun then why even bother?
@@Cptraktorn I don't think that's the issue though. Yeeeeeeah... I'm too old for shit like that. That fight is FAR too complex for how long it is. It's one of those things where individually, it wouldn't be too hard to learn, but it just goes on for SO LONG and it is VERY punishing. Getting 8 people together, who all have time to just sit there and die over and over and over while you nail down mechanics for fights that are nearly 30 minutes long, I just... I can't. There's no fucking way I'd have time to do something like this. This shit is designed for streamer and people with a LOT of free time on their hands, who also don't have any other hobbies. No thanks.

Not that long ago, I had a debate with a friend over PvE vs PvP, because according to him, PvE is 'easy" given that it is something that can be memorized and eventually beaten. Just sent him this video to see if he still can mouth over how PvE is "easy" now. And you guys could argue "well, it sure can be easier than PvP", alright, no problem in admiting that, but something being easier than the other thing doesn´t mean it is just plain "easy" and that was pretty much the point he was failing to grasp.
Well, let´s take the following factors into perspective: 1- It´s not that 99 bosses were necessarily "easy", but rather, they were easier than this one. You would still need a few attempts to get the grasp of how many of those fights work in order to do it properly. 2- Human factor can be a bitch in both spectrums, both PvP and PvE, however, when you enter pvp and there is a total doofus on the other side, the fight becomes easier for you, the same way that having a doofus on your side makes the fight harder on you. On PvE, the doofus is never on the other side, human stupidity will never work in your favor in PvE. 3- Depending on the scenario, a pvp fight can end almost instantly, or drag on for some time, but never drags on for too much time, pvp is usually fast. PvE on the other hand, specially when we talk about high end, we easily stumble on fights that can drag on for over 10 mins and a single screw up can mean that somebody will die, which will make the fight either drag on for even longer OR just wipe the group and make you start again from scratch. I would say it is a more punishing scenario than pvp would ever be. Sometimes pve can be easy, but those times are usually limited to lvling experience, because when we get to endgame, PvE is not really "easy", however, some fights can be "easier" than others.
This is kinda comforting to hear that most mechanics do one shot, even if you pay A LOT of real money for that 5% extra damage you can do (like WoW world first raiders). If you fail mechanics you are getting punished for it, so if you play bad & paid real money then you are not getting any advantages over f2p players :D
That's why people argue whether Lost Ark is or isn't P2W. Because you can pay money to get geared faster, but in the end game it doesn't really matter. In PvP all gear and stats are equalized, and in Raiding you need to know the mechanics.
@@Plusimurfriend I am not so sure about that tho.... considering these players are probably almost max geared and doing 5% more dmg doesn't help you with these mechanics :D It's not like doing 5% more dmg equals 200 health bars in this encounter to remove mechanics or kill the boss that much faster :D However I am not even sure if there is such a thing as "p2w" gear. I think they just got the best gear faster (like WoW World first raiders). I didn't play the end content so I can't judge that properly, but most people say so.
@@Plusimurfriend There is no such thing as "P2W" gear, everyone has the same gear. P2W people may get it a bit quicker. But doing more damage will not make the fight any easier, that's the point. You'll save like 30 seconds out of a 16 minute fight lol.
This is also why mmorpgs have "dedicated party" is because teaching someone, form scratch everytiime you try to "PUG" is not going to work for raids like this. This also not suppoes to be completed on first try, more like 1-4 months down the road
Dude Lost Ark looks so good, I've been waiting for this game way more than New World since it was announced. Actually cannot wait for it to release :))
Well, "idiots" who can't do simple mechanics can't even get to that raid in the first place. They will be stuck at tiers way below or quit the game altogether.
this is end end endgame, and even in easier raids that this gear is all equalized. WOW idiots who get to endgame by boosting will get fucking slaughtered in raids 10x easier than this
Pay to win - a situation where the player can buy in-game content or in-game changes, with real money, that give the player a gameplay advantage or advance the player gameplaywise. It is totally pay to win. On a scale from 1 to 10 being the worst I would give it an 8. You can buy potions, resurrections, mats, level boosts, dungeon chests, cosmetics, mounts and more. Everything can be bought for real money in this game and the true engame is gear progression gambling, which ensures only those with the fattest wallets will have the highest item levels.
@@TweekTweakXD Thats wildly inaccurate for the context that this game exists in. You can get potions, materials, cosmetics like costumes, mounts, pets, instrument skins and boat skins all with ingame earned currency (gold), you can also simply craft potions yourself. Resurrections are simply given to you pretty frequently just by login rewards or quests on islands or elsewhere. Of course level boosts will still be something you purchase, but those will not be present at the launch of the game and won't be there until a little while later, however level boosts do not put you higher ilvl than other people who have actually been playing, at most they put you at the minimum ilvl to just start that current tier of content (which will be T1 for NA/EU). Gear progression also has a soft and a hard cap. For T1 content, again this is what NA/EU will have for launch, you stop unlocking additional content at 600 ilvl, anything beyond that point is mostly just vanity for weapon glows. Even beyond that point your ilvl will stop progressing once it hits a certain point because you cannot upgrade your gear beyond a certain enhancement level. Progressing your character is also not solely limited to ilvl progression, you also need to actually do collectible things for the Adventurer's Tome as well as other exploring/collectible content in the game to get more skill points as well as the Runes you need to augment your skills. The game does not force you to pay money to be able to progress, everything is earnable by simply just playing the game and you are not locked out of content in any way if you don't pay. By simply running a few alts to help feed your main character you can easily maintain quick and efficient progression, and obviously the more alts you have the more they help but also the more time you have to put in. As a side note, the most recent raid released in KR (which is the exact one that Asmon is watching in this video), the very first clear of it was done by F2P players, not anyone who whaled.
@@paperwarrior7411 I didn't say the game wasn't free to play. There are tons of f2p games out nowadays and lost ark is in fact a f2p game but the game is still blatantly pay to win. You still have a large majority of people who will get ahead of you due to money spent and all the highest ilvl players are spending ridiculous amounts of money to get there. I played lost Ark on RU and have heard this arguement hundreds of times. Just because a game allows you to progress at a slower pace without spending money doesn't make it not pay to win. I've played a lot of f2p games and in my experience lost ark is still one of the most pay to win games on the market just below BDO. Sure there are soft caps and equalized pvp but most people like to feel some kind of sense of achievment as they progress with their characters and that sense of achievement is greatly reduced when people are buying items with real money to get ahead.
@@TweekTweakXD How does them getting ahead of someone else affect that persons gameplay or sense of personal achievement? Not to mention the actual clout worthy things are achieved in equalized content like PvP or Hell Mode Legion Raids. Getting to some ilvl cap before someone else isn't a big deal, the most they get is a new weapon glow. Do you think people who complete Savage Raids in FFXIV or Mythics in WoW after other people lose that sense of personal achievement because someone else did it before them? Unless you're actively looking to do world first race stuff its irrelevant to most people, and even then like I pointed out...the very first clear of the Abrelshud Legion Raid when it released in KR was done by a bunch of F2P players, not "P2Winners".
This is the epitome of quantity over quality. It isn't that the mechanics themselves are individually challenging (very move here, collect that, dodge this), but that it throws a ridiculous amount at you that it becomes overwhelmingly masochistic and impossible to retain knowledge of upcoming phases. The only way that this encounter is made possible on a harder difficulty without checkpoints is the transitions, splitting the fights into chunks and giving you crucial time to review notes on the upcoming phases. It is definitely not for the feint of heart, which I both love and hate. Raiding SHOULD be insanely difficult, there SHOULD be a significant barrier of entry, there SHOULD be some time investment required, there SHOULD be the minimal requirement of a capacity to think and play your own class (and we've all encountered some hopeless people in MMOs with infinitely easier mechanics). Lost Ark has achieved that. But it shouldn't be to the extent that it becomes intimidating, unwelcoming and borderline inaccessible from the off. Needing to understand the encounter to the extent of being able to overcome it BEFORE even being able to attempt it is an absurd barrier. There is no progression, no jumping into the new patch raid with your guild, taking down a few bosses, obtaining better loot to make headway into Heroic and Mythic then flipflopping between a higher and lower difficulty. You either do it or you don't. That's going to put even some of the most hardcore MMO raiders currently off raiding in Lost Ark. It's an extremely aRPG fail 1,000 times to win once approach to raid design that I'm sure fans of aRPGs will love however.
As a casual, this puts me off the game entirely tbh. I can see these types of raid designs generating a toxic community, especially if Wow-like systems get introduced to make each wipe super painful
Lost Ark has tons of casual friendly content and not only that but this is the current hardest tier of content from the game being out for 3 years in Korea. The game will begin with tier 1 and transition into tier 2 til we get to tier 3 in the west. You won't be thrown into this content right away and actually the progression system gets you more and more prepared for each encounter that you face. Also afaik they generally nerf the normal versions of raids when they introduce hell modes(think mythic raiding) so you can still experience these amazing fights even if you don't want to/have the time to experience the absolute hardest version of it.
Sorry to say but every bit of content has to be cleared by casual some of us raid for years already and want hard content and if you find that toxic well you are extremely selfish
@@justarock9553 Criticisms aimed at Amazon seems to be focused primarily on their development capabilities. They should be able to, and they need to, successfully publish Lost Ark, since they need that moolah due to how horribly New World failed (already lost 90% of its launch playerbase).
@@justarock9553 Why would this game be unfinished or buggy when its been out in Korea for 3 almost 4 years now? All Amazon is doing is publishing it, they are not the devs of this game.
The point about having 8 people instead of 20-25 making it easier is legit in terms of less mistakes but it also means more responsibility for each person. Basically if anyone dies, it's a wide cuz you lose 1/8th of your dps + there are patterns that you need either all 8 or an even number of people(pairs). The raid wipes in Lost Ark are mostly pattern related where you have to cooperate with the other raid members with specific debuffs and charges either on yourself or on an area. There are also some of mechanics that only a part of the group can see or some that only one player can see so that group/player has to communicate the mechanic to the rest of the group. There are currently no add ons (no dps meters and no raid encounter help) in Lost ark and if you think you can easily pull off memorizing patterns and remembering shapes, colors, numeric sequences, debuffed areas, etc you saw 2-3 minutes ago while dealing DPS and dodging boss mechanics with no add ons to help you're a beautiful mind. For real! All the Korean trailers from years back look so much better. This is an ACTION ISOMETRIC game, so why does AGS insist on zooming in and showing off the "cutscenes"? that is honestly one of the most intense and insane mechanics for a single Raid I ever seen in my life
I've been playing this game in Russia for the past month and I can't express enough how amazing it is.
@@tuanang7889 they removed oils like 3 months ago there is new system and on RU u can get 1415 in 1-1,5 month

@@razatiger22 I'm an ffxiv player, and a lost ark player. I raid in both games(on RU for Lost Ark, both are hard in different ways. Both are amazing games.
The thing that makes this raid hard, or any lostark raid hard , is that heals are very limited in this game.
@@Zamblinger I'm so glad that someone like you isn't an executive at FromSoft.

Take a shot every time Saint says “wipes the raid”
72 hours, are alot for a boss... mostly what it takes to down last tier boss of each wow raid patch.
@@PetkoNikolov92 72 hours for 6 checkpoints(6bosses) actually
in my opinion ,8 man vs 20 man is the biggest different when you try to complete hard boss fight ,less people makes communication easier doesnt mean difficulty is not there
@@ikc44412 Exactly that.

@@alex__zander Its fun if the raid remains reaction and execution based because of randomized and irregular mechanics. It becomes boring when a boss fight becomes a dance routine between checkpoints.
Dude that is literally the hardest raid I have seen. The mechanics is nuts!!!
its honestly not that difficult when you get the hang of it.

I'm not saying that that is what this boss is. I'm mainly talking about the logic you're using. It's not good game design.
@@marcosdheleno most people wont even attempt it and thats the point... There are ratings/skill groups for a reason. Not everyone can do everything.
Tried Lost Ark like 2 years ago with a VPN and I am excited as fuck to play the NA release in a few months. Been waiting for this forever.
This is the top tier of years of raids, not the entry raids. This is for people with 1300 more iLvL over a fresh 50
For those saying this game and this fight looks easy:
Video mentions only half of the mechanics, there are many random attacks you have to react and dodge. The raids in this game are even more difficult than they sound. And many delusional NA players underestimating them now will be crying for a nerf on clown and abrelshud release. Many of this braindead people already struggle with t1 beta ez content
Watching this video again after clearing g6 on normal - so glad saint made it and got me into my favorite game
People should know that this is just the normal mode raids. All hellmode, leaderboard ranking raids are gear equalized just like in ff xiv, minimum ilvl and no echo. Pvp is equalized also. So many people shit on this game without knowing anything then go support the clusterfuck new world.
To be fair Korean mmorpgs kinda fucked up their own reputation so it only makes sense that people would expect it to follow the trend

At 22:15 she literally sucks up the whole universe and all the stars disappear and it’s just darkness. Really cool design
And now, THE MOST SHOCKING THING.
There are SIX Deamon Generals. Abrelshud is a FOURTH Raid. THERE ARE TWO MORE TO APPEAR. AND SHE IS NOT THE STRONGEST GENERAL.
Abrelshud is basically the 2nd powerful General in their world. The 5th raid is not going to be as hard as before. Only the 6th raid, which is the final boss, will be catastrophic.
Already hyped at 0:12 because last time i checked, it was scheduled for March 22nd on Steam. Now its Feb 11?! PogU
Btw top 8 PVE players took 33 hours to clear this boss encounter when it was first released (on normal difficulty ofc).
A lot of ppl are going to be upset that they can’t get into this raid because they have to be carried

Yeah. It's look complicate. And not a fun kind of complicate. I can already see people malding at each others over someone fuck up mechanics. Big number of people will make it even more annoying
Though, it's still depend on how punishing the game is
Keep in mind this is the newest content available. We will only be getting tier one content. The mechanics slowly ramp up so by the time we get to this difficulty we will have lots of experience. There’s a good level of progression when it comes to difficulty In This game
Tbh, I don't think it's more complex than Azshara mythic raid

What is the song at 19:43?
Yeeeeeeah... I'm too old for shit like that. That fight is FAR too complex for how long it is. It's one of those things where individually, it wouldn't be too hard to learn, but it just goes on for SO LONG and it is VERY punishing. Getting 8 people together, who all have time to just sit there and die over and over and over while you nail down mechanics for fights that are nearly 30 minutes long, I just... I can't. There's no fucking way I'd have time to do something like this. This shit is designed for streamer and people with a LOT of free time on their hands, who also don't have any other hobbies.
No thanks.
this is currently End raid contents. it will take awhile for you to play this one. even on Korean server this raid has 6 bosses and not that many people has killed hard mode specially last 2 bosses like alot of people just gave up on last 2 bosses on hardmode lol ( which include this boss)
Well, let´s take the following factors into perspective:
1- It´s not that 99 bosses were necessarily "easy", but rather, they were easier than this one.
@@kolosmenus pay 2 win
Doing more damage because of P2W gear makes the boss die faster so you are less likely to die.

The summary of the big raids sound like.... get good or don't raid...
Imagine doing that with idiots that can't do simple mechanics in wow or wow classic raids lmao
Well, "idiots" who can't do simple mechanics can't even get to that raid in the first place. They will be stuck at tiers way below or quit the game altogether.
this is end end endgame, and even in easier raids that this gear is all equalized. WOW idiots who get to endgame by boosting will get fucking slaughtered in raids 10x easier than this
This Raid makes Dark Souls look like a tutorial.
Spoiler: Not pay to win. I'm glad he plays want he wants to and is happy to. That's what gaming has always been about and always will be.
@@TweekTweakXD well that doesn’t sound fun lol
These raids are designed for korean gamers in mind. What im saying is the sense of dedication koreans have is far stronger than many others
lost ark is great I enjoyed it very much in beta
The game feels good differently.
Hardcore challenge mode for the viewers. Take a shot of liquor every time you heard "raid wipe".
The hype around Lost Ark, after watching the trailer, umm..... yeah...
TL;DR: "Do [the 10th weird mechanic] or raid wipe."
12:50 why not do what we do at lod (Lk icc25hc) when inside and stack?

Best looking raid I've seen since Yogg Zero light
LOL
Not understanding why it’s only on Steam. It’s not pushing *any* graphical boundaries to keep it off consoles, kinda like WOW.
this game is the definition of "unnecessary confusing" and seems another "work over fun" type of game. you know, gather plats or go to 200 x hp-bars boss with 1k mechanics to loot 1 sack of golden nuts and an adamantite frying pan.
