She( Maa Durga)is the mother of the universe 🙏🏻
Festival's never stop in India 🙏🙏🙏
Mother Durga statue idol made from river mud, and we do festival of the idol and then return to the river
1) natural MATERIALS like mud, jute ropes, bamboo used in making Idol and returned back to nature
2) mother Durga came to save us as a guest now all is well she returns her home in the Himalayas.
3) now we are praying to her for the fight she did millenniums back in history, we never forget good or bad someone did to us.
Don't worry, maa Durga comes back next year...
We ever attended it 😂😂😂😂we celebrate this festival every year we enjoy every moment of it

Indian traditions and culture is vast with deep meanings which if you dont know the logic behind would seem like why do we even do that. For me Durga Puja is gathering of family, reunion with friends. Getting some break from the work, enjoy the music of the dhaak and the puja mantra enchanted which gives a feeling of auspiciosness and energy.

In bengali we have one sentence 'baro mase tero parbon' means in 12 months we have 13 celebration actually more than that , and everyone is welcome not just Hindu festivals also tribal, christmas, Eid also Chinese New year etc .... We Bengalis stays together we love to celebrate. Because we have another sentence is 'Dhormo jar jar utsob sobar' means religion is individual but festival is for everyone. And some people can't stand this fact that everyone is welcome or together. They want violence always. There's probably one happening I mean Durga Puja in your country.
This is the farewell to the daughter chanting all about next year ..Ganges believed to be connected to Kailash so she sails upstream..She would be back again next year..

Do You know what! in Deepawali each and every house of Hindu family is glowing up with lights and candles I won't tell you much about it 😁
And Chhath Puja is dedicated to the Sun God Surya and Chhathi Maiya, the sister of the Sun God. It's believed that the sun is the basis of life on Earth, and that Chhathi Maiya protects children from illness and disease so please react on this two festival

9 days of celebration, 10th day (like today) it ends. & Yes we are sad. Red-white saree is worn to show married women. So all the women you saw was married.
Let me explain. Idol of Goddess Durga is made from the clay of river Ganga ( may be you call Ganges). So on completion of celebration she is returned to the same river.
& As I am Bengali & lived all my life in Kolkata I have taken part in every thing... from bringing the idol to pandal & till immersion in river.
It’s not a paint it’s a Abhir Gulal which is a symbol of a married women.
