I cannot pretend to know what Black Americans go through, but as a white person of mixed Latino and white heritage (direct descendant of an abolitionist btw) I got it with both barrels. From whites and Mexicans. I idenfify with not being sure if you are being mistreated because of your ethnicity, but then you realize that you are because it is so pervasive. Too much of a coincidence. You know you're being treated differently. As soon as whites hear me speak English, I am no longer one of them, even if they speak glowingly of Latinos and I people who picked on me growing up in Mexico. I was never discriminated outright, but the minute something occurred that someone disliked, my ethnicity came into play. So, I very much feel these talks are cathartic. As a child, I saw my Dad humiliated by law enforcement because he had blond kids with him. I always say, you are not your skin color. I am not white. It's my skin that's white. We're all individuals.
@@colincole4148 Well, I wouldn't have asked the question if I was certain of the answer, but I would normally consider "woop, woop" to be praise (unless an Australian said it). If praise is the case, perhaps you could elucidate.
Why was this so short?

@@number4cat1 You are correct. It is praise. :) What would you like me to clarify? I am more than open to dialogue.
