      @@alexandershabazzi8890 hey we’re all dumb the things we do not know would fill a library of books I meant no harm in my statement I think your going way down into a path that I wasn’t even trying to have a discussion on,but this is the fact nore is successful he has resilience and has made a place for himself without the record business and that I appreciate because so many of our hip hop legends end up squandering away the fortune and never use the fame to pave more promise after that little glimmer in hip hop dims away..being versatile in ideas and work has made Nore a staple and almost a house hold name,I’m a fan a watch but I also noticed how much he doesn’t seem to know about so much simple things in life and I’m like dam nore!!! Read some books bro this world is about knowing the more we know the more we grow and hold strength in much-be easy dude

    First off..if y’all not taking notes you’re wasting your time watching this interview!!!! My key takeaways are;
    1. You have to know you’re the best at what you do. PERIOD
    2. Your work ethics need to be at a level 1000
    3. The key to success is building relationships. Money does not matter at the end of it all but, relationships and giving value does.

      @bluewater_1142 3 года назад

      Amen ! I feel like this is what Stout really wanted to YELL at Nore each time he kept bring up money. Or telling Stout " I wanted you to get me a check ". Nore lacked these skills in his music career. He surely has brushed up his skills for the podcast industry. You can see he is putting in more business minded thoughts to it now compared to back in the days. I understand hes older now so he matured. But some people got it and others don't. Stout has it and Nore is just too short sighted sometimes.

    When you look at Steve's resume, the fact that he put the deal for the Martin theme song together, and a host of the endorsement deals majority of the hip-hop stars we know about and don't know about have been able to eat long after they have left the game as a result of this guy. I think you cannot realistically say he's not contributed in a major way to the culture, for that he can be cocky about.

      He didnt say he wasnt talented. what he was tryna say is, on a track with nas or anybody else he shines very bright. But when he puts solo music out he doesnt go as hard.. Dont get me wrong cuz AZ is def one of my favorite rappers of all time.. However, stoutte is halfway right about that one-mainly due to AZs beat selection imho..

      I disagree with Steve saying that AZ was a weak lyricist or alluding to that. Lyrics were never the problem regarding AZ. In my opinion, AZ's biggest problem was putting together cohesive albums. I like to think that's what Steve was trying to say but it sounds like he was shitting on AZ lyrically. The respect that AZ gets to this day is because despite his discography, he's been a great lyricist.

    I'm starting to realize that in some circumstances, NORE will cut off an artist if they're telling a true story about some shit that most likely shouldn't be spoken on in a public setting. Sex with certain artist, female emcees, and old beefs from the past. I've watched enough episode to see that his cutoffs are to protect the show, the artist, and avoid conflict of interest with future guest. And of course....he still cuts people off for no reason as well 😂

    Az wasnt talentless
    That was worded incorrectly
    Az just was true to rhymes and to bars
    A true respect for the art of rap
    His comeback album awol in 2005 was good enough to put him on top
    If u dont invest in radio airplay u wont be heard
    Has nothing to do with talent or stardom
    To get a record on radio is at least $900k to $1.4MM
    And then a couple of hundred stacks a week
    The only way to get to radio is thru a record label
    They got a monopoly n their practices should be illegal
    Hence lyrical rap died not cuz rappers are whack but because radio is music programming there is a program and right now homosexuality in the black community is programmed as a form of eugenics cuz the white race is dying out

      Raymond Hernandez how ignorant... Both are ridiculously intelligent.... Arrogant.. Dont see it.. There has to be ultimate belief in yourself to build what they built.. Without people like him and dame alot of hip hop doesn't get created...and alot of rich rap artist now dont exist

      I started Steve Stoute. He took my demo tape to Kid and convinced him to open a entertainment company to manage my group RAS Posse. My record deal with LaFace Records LA Reid was the first deal Steve has ever done! Being my manager his first official position in the music business!

      I respect Stout because he told it like he felt. He wasn't politicly correct on many points, but he called it like he saw it... I'm not saying he was right, but I can respect the attitude. Like when he said he got beat up by Puffy's goons. It was what it was.

    Stephen need to apologize for his comments about AZ, I wasn't feeling that at all. the reason why AZ had trouble was because he didn't have a manager who was is proper nor did he have a record label that was proper. Other than that I thought he was superior to Nas. Not only was he older but he was wiser than nas. listen to "pieces of a man" and you understand what I'm saying.

      Az and Nas was like twin brothers to me. Cormeaga on the other hand wasnt on Nas and Az level. He had skills but his delivery was always slurred
