This is how they should've release the physical releases the GTA Trilogy DE with maps and manuals, and how they could also release some merchandising for this game. This would have been a major success of how the games used to be rather than a remaster full of bugs and a unfinished mess.
We haven’t been getting manuals since PS4, I think it’s because developers have noticed that most people buy digital more than physical, I prefer physical due to maps and manuals
Being such a terrible version of the game I think its fitting the box had nothing, now had it actually been a definitive edition this would been a great collectors edition.
I hope red dead ps4 comes with a map at least

I'm worried that we may not get a physical release of GTA 6 at all. With the Xbox leak, pointing to an all digital revision of the Series X, set to release sometime in 2024, and Sony is likely to follow Microsoft's footsteps at least in this regard(as games are not read from the discs, instead they're used for DRMs), there is no reason for R* to make a physical copy at all. I'm just hoping we'll get a Starfield premium edition like package for GTA 6.

Sony won't give up the physical disks anytime soon bcs the PS5 digital edition only got 20% of the sales compared to 80% for the Standard edition. Maybe for Xbox but not PlayStation.

Loving that before 2016 Rockstar put actually effort into stuff even if we talk PC versions only - GTA V Big bog, GTA IV big box - true lowkey masterpieces. Today all is about being green and talk 'green' and what is sustainable and it unfortunately also includes R* as we sadly see. In terms of marketing, with all problems and chaos it cause i would call it succesfull strategy ..... even to the sad side since although marketing wasnt needed to sell it it definetely created a big brand awareness in form of scandals etc.
To be green is important no doubt, but we all know that usually it's not because of that, but this is another way to save consts. Because they can always use a recycled paper and other creative ideas. Let's hope that the enpty definitive edition box was a one time thing
@@GeeMeek I do follow you and i agree truly,you never know with R* we can only do hope but this tendency has been going for a while so i am pretty much afraid it needs a lot of changes until we see change. Again i do look forward to GTA VI, yeah i know early vibes but it will come eventually and when it does ill hope especially for PC & PS5 (i guess most my concerns are to PC version ) to see a paper edition of GTA VI. In terms of iconic SA, have you ever seen or had a box with factory seal? of the big box.
The PS5 version of GTA V only has the disc, no manual, no map
