12 hours of grinding for this class was a bit worth it i guess, its pretty op and i hope they buff it on the next update
Its worth it lol, you need to use glass with it because it depends on crits, you are using it wrong
ok i misjudged it a bit, but my summoner build still out damages it and i guess ill just go get a better build for shadowblade

In my opinion they should buff the AOE of shadowblade's attacks and that'd make it much better
I did a 5hour speedrun in a new dragoon
When using dual wielder/red lion on bosses, you have to position yourself so that the lion is inside the boss to deal massive dmg. It really only works well on big bosses.

Dual Wielder is good because of the attack speed & critical ability, plus x2 pet damage.
Shadowblade keeps x2 pet damage, has stronger basic attacks, and can just do more damage. Don’t forget that Shadow Sneak also gives the attack an extra 20% damage, and if you time it properly you can let both your damage skills benefit from Shadow Sneak. Extra benefit: Shadowsneak can attack 3x a second naturally without needing to rely on a skill

Hmm tbh I think that shadowblade is better than dualwielder because of the guaranteed crits, especially the ult since the ult is all crits for 15 seconds
The the other most op thing is that the r move literally stuns enemies.

I remember dealing 1.6M normal dmg with dual wielder + black butterfly in world 7 tower.
Using Shadowblade with white butterfly can grant your ultimate way faster and you will have lots of more permanent crit attacks so i'd say Shadowblade is better

U can't switch pet in the middle of dungeon, unless ur party with someone and got red lion and butterfly

To put it short, Shadowblade doesn’t actually work with Red Lion since Shadow Mode buffs makes Meteor Strike completely broken.
Confirmed by a tester, Red Lion completely destroyed bosses with this boost and resulted with an intentional nerf again this pet. Uniquely, this buff does work with Black Butterfly, so long as you activate the pet skill before Shadow Mode.
Regarding Red Lion’s crazy dmg, the main cause is due to the weapons you weld as part of the class. Dual Welder uses two swords, which the game mistakenly takes both dmg and input it with whatever pet you have equiped. This bug also works with Berserker and Shadowblade and to this day the weird phenomenon still exists. This also explains why Dual Welder and Red Lion makes the best pair, which is demonstrated in your video.
TL;DR: Shadowblade was intentionally nerfed when using Red Lion, but when used for Dual Welder, people exploit a bug for its extra dmg.

Currently I am unaware of what pets are nerfed with Shadowblade but guaranteed Red Lion may be the only pet for this case.

@@TitaWita001 I wouldn't say it's nerfed since they said they intentionally made it so the pets don’t crit, just the shadowblade move set so I'd imagine the red lion stays the same as I haven't noticed any difference between the classes with pet damage but I don’t use red lion anyways so it's not really a bother to me, just saying, nor am I that well informed just going off what I seen so if I'm wrong correct me but I only had seen that they removed the crit guarantee from all pets not specifically red lion so I don’t see how it's nerfed

The only reason you got less time with dw is bc you didnt have red lion and werent using the class right. Its a brainer class and sadly you have to actually use your brain instead of just spamming stuff.

Well white fox feer gives a dmg boost to the weakened enemy, I use it to weaken the boss then switch to my Bob pet to maximize my dmg with my ults crits, usually gets me doing over 100k per normal swing and gets the skills doing massive dmg too so I can see the fox deer for bosses but the cat is just for mobs like butterfly so I wouldn't really ever use it on a boss
Just a small comment when you were using dual wielder you were complaining abt how it was trash compared to Shadowblade but as soon as you finished the dungeon you started saying how duel wielder was so much better??.. But great video though, I don't mean any offense. Personally I like Shadowblade better. (more fun, guarantee crit)

spooky cat (the one with the hat) is just a better version of black butterfly, so yeah basically its black butterfly + poison damage

Why i dont do dmg with red lion? For example I see videos of people taking half of the bosses life's, but when I use it I only deal like 1/8

If you prestiged before the shadowblade update then yes you will have summoner

You got to understand shadow blade is a crit dmg style get crit dmg gear and see the dmg cant compare it too a basic power bonus style summoner
