Lived in New Orleans for several years and still visit regularly. Drago's, in the Hilton Riverside, has the best chargrilled oysters. Also, many great restaurants in the Garden District. Locals go to Cafe Beignet, tourists go to Cafe du Monde. Thanks for the video.

I like that you frowned upon feeding the gators. You're right, we shouldn't be feeding wildlife like that just for our entertainment. I'm usually hesitant to follow people who just want to travel for a living but after watching several videos on this channel (found you when searching for Christmas in Quebec City Vids), you two seem pretty cool.

Keep on truckin and above all STAY SAFE 🚐❤️😷

I have been to Nola maybe 10 times. Mostly in early spring and the weather has been everything you can imagine. It even had ice storm one time which is a rarity. So glad you got to see it but 48 hours is way to short. Next time take a buggy tour or get a guide to learn the history. In 1981-82 I lived in Uptown which is about 10 miles from the French quarters where Tulane University is located. Huge beautiful homes you would love.

Appreciate your opinion. I’ve went about a dozen times (I live in Ohio ). Went in June abs going again in sept . Such a cool city even for those of us who aren’t into partying. The culture and people are the best. Streetcar rides , garden district , Mississippi River and Jackson square

The 2 of you are more mature than I was in my 40's. I partied around the world and can't remember some of the best times I had 🤬. Great video and you represent your generation better than any I have seen. 👍

Give New Orleans another chance. If you like history you should take a few of the guided tours of the cemeteries and walking tours of the quarter. Take a culinary trip around the city but stay out of the quarter, much more to partake and enjoy. Wonderful food. Rainy days in NO are the worst, the city is below sea level for Pete’s sake. Bourbon St would have been way cooler in your early 20’s, older and sober it’s sketch.

    • @MathersOnTheMap

I always cringe when I see people touring my town. Especially when they try “New Orleans” cuisine. First rule of gumbo is you don’t order it at a restaurant. Thanks for giving a fair review and an honest opinion. You didn’t focus only on the negative nor did you make it seem like something it is not.

I'll post this here to as maybe it's more relevant then the other video I originally wrote it on.
You guys are great, but Kevin dude! It's really hard to watch you eat, bro. Close your mouth, gross! If you are going to make parts of your video about the foods you eat when you travel gain a little more knowledge of the food so you can talk about it better and cut out the cringy eating. And if food isn't your thing that's fine, leave it up to Taylor to talk about the food and share her thoughts. Sorry, but this is the hardest part about watching any of your guy's videos.
